I’m between a rating of 3 and 4 stars on this Love Salve Soap (Passion Fruit), and am erring on the low side because I was attracted to it based on the Passion Fruit scent, and while there is a light but delicious smell right out of the shrink wrap, it does not smell at all in the shower.
Disregarding the scent: as a soap, this is one of the very best bars I’ve used. It lathers especially well, and is soft and moisturizing. It also cleanses very well, including removing body odor. (I typically wash my arm pits twice in the shower, and that’s not needed with this bar!) If this had been advertised as an unscented soap I would give it 5 stars, but I was really looking forward to that passion fruit scent! And considering it is priced as a premium soap, I would have been extra disappointed had I purchased this outright.

This love salve soap lathers very well. The bar is large. I drop the soap often because of the size. I have large hands but cannot hold on to large square bars of soap. The bar that I ordered is Forbidden Fruit IPA. I have used the soap several times and have not detected any fragrance. I have ordered bar soap before from Amazon that didn’t begin to have a fragrance until I had used the bar for quite a while and then I would get to a certain area in the soap that set the aroma free. Maybe that is the case with this soap. I will update the review if so.
The ingredients are citrus extract, lavender extract, palmitic acid, myristic acid, sorbitol, pro-panedioi, aqua, white granulated sugar, glycerin, lauric acid and sodium citrate.
The information about the soap states that it will remove mites and inhibits bacteria.
I really like this bar soap. I feel very clean after use and my skin is moisturized.

This is an overpriced, huge bar of soap, that has absolutely no smell whatsoever.

Works pretty well and does a decent job at moisturizing. The smell has a very natural pine scent, similar to the pine soap “tecnu”, which isn’t bad it’s just not as “perfumey” some might prefer.

I ordered this after reading all the reviews about how nice this soap smells-well, I have a very string sense of smell and this soap has absolutely no scent whatsoever-IVORY has more of a scent than this –

I really like this soap, it not only smells so good it leaves my skin feeling moisturized and clean. A lot of soaps dry my skin out but this one doesn’t and my skin feels so soft after using. I have really sensitive skin and it doesn’t irrate or bother my skin at all. I love the light fruity scent and I like that I can still smell it after I get out of the shower. It’s also bigger then most bars of soap I’ve used lol. I love it and would definitely purchase again!! Would Recommend!!

This soap comes in 4 scents. I chose eucalyptus as I’m accustomed to the essential oil in lotions and the bath. Though it’s marketed towards adults, the box mentions family life, and it’s still just soap. The label specifies it’s a men’s soap, though the back information reads that it’s for the family healthy life. Either way, I was excited to try this extra large bar of soap. It is made from natural oils in a cold process with no harsh chemicals.
The bar is very cumbersome to use even for my husband’s large hand as it’s a large, flat square of 3×3 inches. The scent is soapy, but it’s not a very strong smelling eucalyptus as I expected. It lathers well without falling apart and should last a while. My issue with it is that it caused a burning and itching sensation almost immediately in my private area. Even the next day, I’m still having to apply a cortisone cream. I would be cautious if you are a woman/child using this soap, but it could be just me.

Well, what can I tell you about this bar of soap? The description says it will ignite passion and increases attraction… 🤣🤣🤣
I don’t know about all those claims. But it is a nice sized square bar of soap, a pretty blue color, that lathers well, has a nice subtle scent of the ocean and it leaves my skin feeling clean and not dry.
It has some good ingredients in it…. Goat’s milk, shea butter, oatmeal, kaolin clay, sea salt and a few other items.
It’s a great bar of soap that should last for a long time.
