I have struggled with acne since my preteen years and it’s a constant struggle of searching for products that help without drying out my skin, the. Searching all over again when my body gets used to them and they stop working. I’ve been using a salicylic acid body wash for my body acne and it was a working well for a while and then it just stopped so I decided to try this. After using it daily for a while, there are a couple things I really like. 1. Is the smell, it’s not a chemical or medicinal smell like some soaps for acne and other skin problems tend to be. But, it’s also not a crazy strong flowery smell either, which I like. 2. It isn’t overly drying. I wouldn’t say it’s super hydrating either, but it keeps my skin pretty well balanced and I haven’t noticed any excess drying even though we are in the middle of winter and I usually avoid using body lotion because of breakouts so I get most of my hydration from my soap and my natural skin oils. 3. I like the bag it comes in. It’s a bit large, and after using up the soap it feels even larger but you just have to hold it right and it serves as a built in exfoliating loofah. It creates a great lather and does a great job getting any dirt, dead skin, or anything else off my skin. 4. It didn’t make my acne worse. It also didn’t make it better, I wasn’t seeing as good results as with the salicylic acid wash, but that’s to be expected, and this soap didn’t make it worse and it did seem to control at least a good portion of the body ache without over drying. Usually if I get a soap that is good for acne it’ll dry the hell out of my skin and I’m forced to choose between dry, scratchy skin and acne filled skin, not entirely the case with this soap. I will likely switch back to the more medicated soaps once it gets warmer and I don’t need as much moisture, but it’s a good soap for me to use the rest of the winter while I search for another body wash that does a better job with the acne without drying out my skin.

I have very sensitive skin and this works so well. The scent is clean and mild. You can actually feel the cleanliness on you skin. It doesn’t last as long as your topical bar soap due to it being all natural ingredients. Will buy again.

If you have sensitive skin this is not for you. I used the soap in a small amount on my face. When I rinsed my face off there were red blotches all over my face. I was hoping to find a natural soap that could help with my blemish on my face. I will have to keep looking.
