Love the scent, but not as strong as it used to be before the label change. Much more watery than it used to be.

Most importantly, this foaming soap gets your hands clean while leaving them feeling silky smooth. The combination of lemon and verbena scent is beyond lovely and stays smelling that way for a good while. Buy this, you won’t be disappointed.

I specifically ordered what was categorized as the original label, original formula, with only 6 left. What I got was the new formula, with the new label, that smelled like lemon medicine with a bitter after scent and lots of chemical components rather than the previous formula which had a lot of beautiful floral oils. The formula was barely the same. I’m so disappointed and I feel cheated.

The soap itself is good. It foams up well and lathers well.
The scent is more flowery than lemony. Perhaps that is what Lemon Verbena is supposed to smell like, but I was expecting a stronger lemon scent.
Of course, scent preference is very subjective.
It is more of a feminine than a masculine scent.

Smells wonderful and the foaming makes dispensing easy. Wish they had a large refill bottle to cut down on plastic dispensers.

The scent is great. I prefer the foam and this pump foams well. Each bottle lasts a long time. It’s one of those things that, when you think you are at the bottom and expect to run out any day. then week and a half later you are still expecting it to run dry. This has been my choice for years now.

I love the scent of this soap , the size for the kitchen counter and the foam instead of liquid soap. Ps: the package was not well done. It leaks from the box when it was delivered to me. Other wise , I am very please with the quality of this product and the price.

The formula seems to have changed since it was called “South of France”. Still smells nice, but this formula is much more drying to my hands. Not sure what happened. Wish I had kept the old bottle to compare ingredients.
