Have to be persistent with this soap if you want the dark spots to go away. Mines are slightly going away ,but the acne steady coming. DONT SMELL THE TURMERIC at all just lemon. Great lather though. Won’t purchase again.

I’ve come across so many positive results people with skin of color have had with using Tumeric to brighten their skin and fade dark Hyperpigmentation that I’ve been trying different tumeric products when I come across them.
This soap has a very mild citrus/tumeric scent. Lathers up nicely. I like to just rub the bar on my face rather than build up lather with my hands. I’ve believe for anything to work on the skin, it’s got to stay on it for at least a good 5 minutes. So I like rub the lather into my face and then leave it to absorb for as long as I can before washing it off. It has an instant calming affect on my redness and leaves my skin soft. It works just as well as some of my K-beauty cleansers I’ve tried in the past. I’m for anything organic that acturally works.

I ordered this soap for my daughter, because she loves turmeric soap. She is convinced that it helps with acne and keeping her skin clear. I don’t really notice that personally, and I’m not a fan of the turmeric scent, so I don’t usually use it. This soap doesn’t smell at all like turmeric to me. When I first unwrapped the bar, it smells strongly of lemon, almost like furniture polish, that strong. After a few hours, that smell dissipated and now it just smells very pleasant to me. It is a hard texture soap, so I think it will last a long time. There is not a ton of lather but it’s enough to be pleasant (we use it for our faces, not as a shower soap). I’m happy with this soap and I would order it again.
