I recently started using these soap bars with lemon and turmeric, and I’m absolutely loving it! These bars have done wonders for my skin. I’ve noticed a significant reduction in dark spots and an overall brighter complexion after just a few weeks of use.

After taking off the plastic wrap around the box, you can smell the citrus scent and it’s refreshing. I use kojic products before entering the shower and I did the same with these. I started off with the lemon bc it smelled great. I stuck into the mesh baggie to lather it and then put it on my arms (prerinse over the sink, very quick). I used the scrubber towel to gentle exfoliate my hairs (pits as well) and then let it sit for about 2-3 minutes before heading to the shower. In the meal time I just took my usual time to get my makeup off. I do this regularly with kojic products so it went smoothly for me. I only do this with my arms, pits and sometimes neck because those are the most exposed to the sun and I get sun damaged easily so it helps a lot with getting the sun spots off and keep them off.

These bars lather well and make my skin feel nice after using. I use them on my face and entire body. I’m not sure how I feel about the Lemon and Turmeric although the scent of these are nicer than other Lemon and Turmeric soap I’ve used before, they’re still not my favorite scents. I do really like the health benefits to the skin and that’s really why I use these types of soap though.

This soap arrived well packaged, with two different types of exfoliating bags. I won’t describe the scent as perfect…both bars smell good, but there is a slight undertone of something a tad less pleasant. It doesn’t smell chemical, and it’s so subtle it won’t keep me from using these.
I didn’t deduct for the scent, as the point of these is effective cleaning and exfoliation. On both fronts, this soap is great! I didn’t find a need to use the supplied bags. The bars have small particles which create an exfoliating effect, and lather up quite nicely.
Unlike some soaps with exfoliating particles, this product was not off-putting to use as a full body bar. The particles do their job, then wash away easily, which isn’t the case with some other brands of soap.

This soap was great to use for my skin. My skin felt refreshed and hydrated without any irritation or artificial scent. The soap is easy to store and is cheap as well. There are some little things included with the box as well which is helpful for the soap.

I like how these soap bars lather up and the small mesh bag is great for exfoliating and then hanging the bar to dry so it’s not melting in a soap dish. I haven’t used the large mesh sheet for anything yet. It’s not a bag, it’s literally a hand towel sized sheet of mesh. I guess that’s the exfoliating “net sponge” to which the item description refers.
I can’t really decide on the scent. You can smell the lemon right away. I guess the other bar does smell like turmeric. After that initial blast of scent though, when I use the bar, I detect some strange odor that I don’t really care for. I don’t know what it is and it’s faint and doesn’t last long but I don’t like it. It’s not enough to make me not use this soap though. It’s just odd. Whether or not I decide to continue using these soaps depends on how my skin feels and looks after I use up these bars. If I’m moisturized and smooth, then sure, I’ll order more. I don’t really have dark spots on my skin to determine effectiveness so I can’t comment on that. So far though, I do think my skin is nice and clean and smooth after a scrub with these bars and the mesh bag.

I am really enjoying these kojic acid soaps. They lather up really well with little effort. The lemon and turmeric both have a refreshing scent and they leave my skin feeling clean and fresh. The set comes with a large mesh towel and a small mesh bag. At first I wasn’t sure about the mesh towel, but it’s wonderful! I used it head to toe in the shower and it really makes for an all over revitalizing experience. After two weeks of using am/pm my face looks a little brighter and more even. I’m hoping to see even more improvement with continued use. I would definitely buy this set again, or put in a spa gift for a friend.
