No more itchy scalp! Yay!
I had been using custom hair care…itchy scalp. I have been interested in historical hair care and so I did some research about what they washed their hair with. So I found this soap…basically the most basic soap there is, and I just went for it. I am so thankful for finding this! I don’t think I’ll ever go back to regular shampoo. It works well for body too, but I mainly use it for shampoo. I am just here to say do not listen to everyone in the hair industry! This works so well and my scalp feels so clean! I also oil my hair before washing as a way of making sure it won’t dry out.
I also would like to mention that the price is so good for the amount you get! Way better than shampoos that supposedly work better than soap…which I now do not agree with.
I also only have to wash my hair twice a week with this.

Twelve Speeds Are Enough –
I wanted non-fragrance, i.e. non-scented, but various ads here including Kirk’s own make ingredients really hard to find, though I finally found the basic list of five (non-fragranced) DEEP in a Kirk’s ad. And the packages for the bars themselves don’t even list the ingredients I think! So it can get confusing, and I bought fragranced without really wanting it. I’ll see how they go though.. hopefully the sixth ingredient, ‘fragrance,’ is from natural vegetarian sources. I’ll call them – no answer, left a message. Packaging of 3 ars says “all-vegetable based” so I am hopeful the ‘fragrance’ is botanical.

Kirk’s soap lathers very well and quickly, has a very pleasant odor. The bar is all soap, not veneered soup as many on the market are. It is real soap down to the last fragment.

My wife has been buy Kirk’s bar soap for years as our shower soap. (We use liquid soap on the counters.) It’s great soap and gets you clean.

Have purchased this soap many times and am always pleased with the quality!! It is great on sensitive skin. I highly recommend trying Kirks soap.
