I have been drinking a clear protein from another brand for the last several months that I have truly loved, but there were two downsides: 1) the price, and 2) the separation. The great news is that this product really solves both of those issues. This is about $15 cheaper for the same amount of product, and the product doesn’t separate when left sitting for a while. My pictures of the product in the blender bottle was from leftover that didn’t fit in my cup this morning and had sat untouched in the refrigerator for 14 hours. No matter how well I mixed the other brand it would begin to separate in as little as 10 minutes. The downside? Well, really it’s personal preference, but I prefer the taste of the other a bit more. This isn’t overly sweet, which some people will probably enjoy more honestly, but for me I feel like it was just missing a little something. I drank about half of it on its own (and enjoyed it!) but then tried mixing it with some crystal light lemonade to give it a little boost (and definitely enjoyed it more!)
Overall, I really like it and I’ll have no problem finishing the container. I love the convenience of being able to supplement my protein intake while also staying hydrated. Typically if I’m drinking enough I’m not as hungry and my protein suffers, or I fail to drink enough fluids on days when I have a protein shake, but there’s no reason to choose between meeting those goals with this.
Highly recommend checking this out if you’re looking for a non-protein tasting beverage. I can’t believe how far these products have come in the last few years. If you tried them in the past and hated them like I did, I’d recommend giving them a second shot because the formula and taste has come a long way!

I was excited to try rule one protein clear isolate because I wanted a new flavor and it seemed to be a good choice. The taste and texture were pretty good. The strawberry lemonade flavor is light and refreshing. It’s enjoyable from the typical vanilla or chocolate protein powders. It dissolved well in water and but it did have a few small clumps that I could ignore. From a nutritional standpoint there were no artificial colors flavors or sweeteners. It’s a healthy approach to protein supplements. It only has 90 calories per serving so this is an excellent option for those who are wishing to watch their cold work intake. Overall I enjoyed it and I will continue using it.

I have tried many protein powders and find it difficult to achieve the right consistency. I love this, because it just tastes like an electrolyte drink and perfectly normal being the consistency of water. Chocolate or vanilla water is weird, but I can put a scoop of this in my Stanley and I’m off! It fills me up and tastes great while helping me meet by protein goals.

I was more than a little surprised by this protein powder. I’m fairly familiar with the usual vanilla, chocolate, and “unflavored” whey powders, but this was the first time I’d tried a fruit-flavored. I like it. It mixed up easily in my shaker bottle, and unlike others I’ve tried, it didn’t separate back out. (I hate having to constantly shake-and-drink). It had a pretty light, refreshing flavor, without being too fake-flavor-y, if that makes sense.
20g of protein is kind of low for a whey-based protein powder, but with the electrolytes, this gives enough overall value for me to think it needs a place in the drink rotation.

I’ve been working out for more than 30 years and I’ve tried dozens of different protein mixes over the years including other brands of clear isolate protein mixes and this Strawberry Lemonade flavor by Rule One is one of my favorites. The powder mixes well in water and does not clump or have any gritty texture and it tastes very pleasant without being overly sweet. It has only 90 calories per serving but still packs 20 grams of protein per serving and is cheaper than the other big brand clear isolate proteins. I also like that it is available in multiple flavors since I really like the taste and look forward to trying some of the others. If you are not a fan of thick milkshake-type protein mixes this mix would be an excellent alternative as it has a clean and fruity taste that is easier to consume than traditional protein mixes and it doesn’t make you feel as bloated after drinking since you don’t have to use milk and it mixes so well with water.

I made the most delicious beverage using this protein powder. I used the Peach Mango flavor clear protein powder. I combined it with the water and added one packet of the Drip Drop peach flavored electrolytes. Mixing with a spoon was certainly not a good idea. I simply put the top on my 20 oz cup and gave it a vigorous shake (my hand held frother was at home). I will certainly continue using this combination at least once every day, maybe even twice some days… tastes so good!!!

I love the flavor and how low calories it is BUT what’s with the warning sticker? I’m confused why this can be harmful to you?

Great taste, especially if you like strawberry lemonade and don’t mind a bit of artificial tasting protein (which I don’t). It mixes well in my shaker bottle, less curds that don’t blend than other clear isolates I have tried.
The foam actually settles down in a relatively reasonable amount of time which is my biggest issue with lower quality clear isolates since some of them foam up like crazy and never settle down, so you have to eat the foam or scoop it out…thankfully there is none of that here.
It’s a bit of a novelty, so not quite the best value protein but it does taste great, so I think it works well as a once in a while treat.
