I love the smell of roses! I have a huge collection of rose based perfumes, lotions, and soaps, and this soap is definitely one of my absolute favorites! The scent is strong and very natural, reminding me of a tea-rose garden in full bloom. There is no artificial synthetic-type sub-smell to it at all! I have fingers prone to painful cracking during winter months (living in Minnesota), and was a bit hesitant about getting this soap at first as one of the reviewers noted it to be too drying and harsh on skin, which turned out to be absolutely false! This soap leaves my fingers and hands feeling silky, and after using it for about 4 weeks almost exclusively, I have no cracked fingers! This is my first winter without cracked fingers in almost 10 years! This soap works wonders on my hands and om my senses! The tiny pieces of rose leaves and petals embedded into the soap make it feel more organic and act as little scrubbers for your palms without being too harsh, while the scent is very soothing and destressing. I absolutely love it!

Standard size bar of body soap that smells like roses, but leaves no scent on my skin. The dark red spots that you see in the soap are actually lots of little exfoliating beads that feel like sand when rubbed over the skin. Would not use on my face. It leaves my skin feeling squeaky clean, but I don’t find it to be particularly moisturizing. That said, the soap does lather well and helps to exfoliate dead skin cells when used in conjunction with a shower loofah and a good quality body lotion. I’ll see how it goes with the rest of the bar before I decide whether to buy another.

Gave as a gift to my sister who loves the smell of roses. She really appreciated it. Focked a star because it arrived with a corner broken and damaged.
