Works for my allergy induced night cough and that was what I needed it for…so good product

Tried this for the first time last night and won’t be using it again. I took some at 1 AM when my cough woke me up, then it took an hour for my lungs and stomach to settle enough for mu to get back to sleep, then I slept for an hour and a half. By the time I was done with that next coughing fit it was nearly 5 AM, 4 hours after the previous dose, so I took another. That was a big mistake. I did fall back asleep for a bit but it never eliminated my cough, just slowed it down a bit. Then I felt like a complete zombie all morning and into the afternoon, worse than I felt when I had a fever a few days ago. The drowsiness lasted until well into the night. Yuck, yuck, yuck.

It helped my cough, though didn’t completely rid me of it. Took some at 7:30 pm. Tasted surprisingly pleasant; had to make sure I got the adult product. Fell asleep on toilet at 8:00 pm. This stuff will knock you out.

I have COPD, this helps break up the congestion, gets rid of a lot of the coughing and helps me sleep. It does not hurt that it tastes pretty good too.

My problem is not with the cough syrup. It’s the only thing that can get me through the night when I have bronchitis. However, this is the FOUR ounce bottle, although the description does not indicate the size. I assumed at $9 it would be the EIGHT oz size. Pick this up at Walmart and save yourself some cash!

This works so much better than NyQuil. It will knock you out and calm the cough. The only thing that is not great is the online price. It’s worth trying though if you are too sick to drive to the’ store.
