I would give it 10 stars if I could. This is truly a miracle drug. I had bad sinus drainage which caused me to cough every few seconds for a month. Cough syrup with codeine didn’t help so I tried this. I use to get this a the stores in syrup form but you can’t buy this in stores anymore for some reason. I was happy to find it here. The gelcaps are easy to swallow and with one dose my cough was much better and I took it again before I went to bed and woke up without coughing. I haven’t coughed at all. Don’t hesitate to buy this. The price is right and it will cure your lingering cough. IT TRULY WORKS!

1. Active ingredient is dextromethorphan. This blocks cough receptors in the brain. Got a cough? Get this!
2. No extra ingredients. It’s so hard to find pure medicines just for cough. Store shelves are littered with bundled products for all sorts of symptoms. I don’t like taking a bunch of unnecessary meds, so I buy single symptom products like this.
Additionally, most cough syrups have alcohol, sugar, or artificial sugars. Who needs that nonsense?
3. Best format, small gels. Easy to swallow. Not those bottles of messy liquids with unsanitary cups that need to be cleaned.
You can take these gels where ever you need to go. No need to carry a pesky bottle of syrup.
Finally, these gels are only sold in some stores. Shelf space is limited, so they rather carry heavily advertised, bundled meds that pay bigger margins. But they are here at Amazon for a great price!

I first want to say that I love the idea of cough syrup in a pill form! No copious amounts of yucky liquids! I started using these for my older child who is comfortable swallowing pills, and would NEVER take the liquid. I found her dosage amount by weight online (doctor website) and she gets 1 pill every 8 hours. I myself take a prescription cough pill (NOT for kids), so it doesn’t have to be liquid to be effective.
On the other hand, the medicine in general is really only effective for allergy or minor cold coughing, NOT that hacking bronchial cough w/ a virus. Nothing really works for that, including this (even my prescription, only marginally). I cannot seem to find this in stores, so I get it online. No drowsiness. I always keep some on hand.

Omgosh! I will be buying a case of these cough pills. I have case of Bronchitis and All of the OTC I bought from Robitussin Cough Syrup, Cepocol Cough Drops, Prescriptive Cough Pills or Cough syrup have not worked. I have had no sleep for 12 days and have spent about $125
I happened to see this, as I was googling for the cough remedy and this popped up.
So I was not gonna get my hopes up, but I figured, what the heck!
I decided to take only 1, just to make sure all is good and then I took another 4 hours, etc! Guess what??? NO COUGH! NO WHEEZING!
In my personal opinion I think taking 1 every 4 hours starting at 8:00am and ending at 8:00pm allows a better even flow of medicine.
Don’t take too late as it will keep you awake. According to the package.
But honestly, I slept like a DEAD person! I plan to keep an extra bottle in my travel bag.

This is an effective alternative to cough drops which I find loaded with sugar, have a nasty taste and don’t really work. These cough gels are long-lasting, work quickly, are sugar-free with no artificial sweeteners, easy to swallow and work very well for me. Highly recommend this product.

Both my Border Collies have been troubling to get over kennel cough. Although the vet has subscribed a cough suppressant, as soon as the medication is finished, they start coughing again. Cough suppressants from the vets are very, very expensive. My vet suggested that I should give our dogs Robitussin that has Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide 15 mg in liquid form 3 times a day (dogs weight 45 and 47 lbs). I tried, and my dogs hated the taste of the liquid form. I was so happy to find the gel version. I give them 3 cough gels a day with a little Philadelphia Cheese and it goes down a treat. So far it is working. I am saving a bunch of money and my dogs are feeling better too!
