Clueless in California –
I’ve been using Ricola as an alternative to breath mints for years. About a year ago I had to start taking medicine that left a horrendous taste in my mouth. Two meds, in fact, so even if I can ever stop taking one, the bad taste will remain from the other. Point being, I am using more Sugar Free Ricola than ever now. Probably too much, but it works better than mouthwash or Tic-Tacs or whatever, so there ya go. Would’ve given 5 stars except the price keeps on rising, whether I buy in bulk here on Amazon or in single packs at a grocery store. I’ve bought so much of this stuff that I should own stock in the company by now, but I’d gladly settle for a sub-$2.00 price tag per pack. Otherwise, I love the stuff.

I buy them for my sinuses, I suffer a lot with headaches, for the stuffiness of the nose, the gentle amount of menthol opens them up. My throat if it gets dry. They are fantastic and very popular. No sugar but well worth the purchase. I highly recommend this product.

My husband has a persistent cough. After a battery of tests and scans we learned that it doesn’t reflect any medical problem, and that there is not much that can be done about it medically. Good news on the no harm, but still hard on my husband, particularly when we go to the theater or to a musical event. Hence, the need for cough drops. He has tried many different brands, and finds the sugar free Ricola to be the most effective. I have tried many different brands, and find that the sugar-free Ricola tastes great!
But they aren’t always easy to find, so if my husband runs out before we go to an event, we have to stop at several places on our way. Enter bulk purchasing! They are always there when needed, and cheaper than at the newsstand.

I like to keep these by my bed in case I have a little tickle in my throat at night. It keeps me from coughing and doesn’t rot my teeth.

I have to say, I love this product, and have actually used it for years. When I couldn’t find it being consistently carried in ANY of my local stores (supermarkets and drug stores), I decided to order it in bulk from Amazon. I use these daily mostly to keep my mouth moist at night, but I have found them effective in controlling the coughs I get from time to time as well. I needed something that was (a) sugar free, to protect my teeth (b) individually wrapped so it was easy to put in my pocket or purse (c) good tasting and (d) did the job. The Ricola products do it all. By alternating the Mountain Herb with the Cherry versions, I don’t get tired of using it. I have gone to other products from time to time, and always came back to these because of the taste (and no aftertaste). I will say, however, that for some reason the other sugarfree flavors Ricola produces don’t seem to work as well or taste as good.
