I have always had oily skin; visibly-shiny-less-than-1-hour-after washing-the-face oily. Using moisturizer was impossible. Even gel mattifying moisturizers for oily skin would make me breakout like crazy, and make my face look like someone rubbed bacon grease on it.
So, when this was recommended to me by a friend, the sight of the word “cream” made me immediately say no-no.
However, I’m finally using night retinol serum (I’m in my 40s and absolutely hate the feel of anything on my skin, but I finally caved because…age). The retinol started making some parts of my face feel tight/dry in the morning; added to that, because of retinol I needed to find some kind of sunscreen for the day that didn’t make my skin worse.
Then I remembered my friend’s suggestion.
I decided to try it – worst case scenario, it gives me zits and I stop it.
Well, it is AMAZING! Even though it has a creamish texture, it’s very light and gets absorbed almost immediately! No shine at all, no breakouts at all, keeps my recent dry areas perfectly moisturized, the tightness is gone and my skin feels so soft…and added bonus, it continues my retinol treatment during the day too, with sunscreen to boot! No need for layers and layers of different products in the morning – just use this and you’re good to go!
Remember to apply just a small amount (a little goes a long way, you really don’t need much!); it definitely has a light smell, but it’s really weak and I don’t mind if (the best way I can find to describe it is “faint Ponds”, which was my grandma’s smell when she was alive 😅)
TL; DR: fellow oily skin women, you can use it without worrying! It’s great!

I love this product!! It makes my face so soft and smooth! It smells great, but doesn’t have to much of a perfume to it, it’s just perfect. And a little bit goes a long way!
