My main deduction is that the ad did NOT provide a detail list of all ingredients in the product. This could be done by showing photos of the packaging which lists the ingredients, or use the detail description area to list them all.
At the time of purchase, the ad seemed to be a “work-in-progress” as there was only 1 photo, which the image looked nothing like the actual product. Perhaps as time goes by the ad page will be updated.
I did click on the link of the seller to the seller site “Dongyu”, and even the other product sold did not disclose all ingredients.
The ad site should also disclose country of origin which is China – as marked on the outer cellophane wrapper of the product.
I found the packaging to be very attractive.
The bottle itself has a hefty weight to it.
It took me a while to press the pump enough times to start to see the “gel” or ointment appear just under the roller ball. I did not want to pump and disperse too much.
Honestly, I don’t think I really have bags under my eyes. Where my eyes are baggy are on the eye lids.
but I don’t think I can apply the cream there.
As for Retinol – I will apply at night.
I have read that Retinol should not be applied IF out in the SUN.
So, I will apply at night, and it can work its magic all through the night.
It is too soon for me to see results, but I will continue to use.
I rated it high as the 2nd ingredient is in fact retinol.
And I like the application bottle, much easier than the plain serum I have with an eye dropper.
No comment on the price as I have not yet done enough comparison to other products.
Plus, it depends on what all is in the product and the concentration to compare.

I cannot swear whether it’s the cream itself or the rolling metal ball applicator, but this eye cream sure does feel great going on. It seems to particularly brighten up my eye area when I’ve had a restless night or worked too long at the computer. I don’t know that it’s reduced any wrinkles, but I haven’t seen any new ones appear in a couple of months, so it might be doing something. I certainly have had enough stress to warrant new wrinkles! Regardless, the feeling is so wonderful, I’ll keep on using this product.

I got this because, yes, eye bags (Grandma had them, now it’s my turn).
What I like about this Retinol Serum so far?
(Update: I mentioned the yellow settling to them at Dongyu’s web page and they offered to refund or to replace the item).
Pros: 1. It dispenses easily with a pump (It needs to be dispensed prior to rolling on. It looks like some folks try to push down on the skin around their eyes to dispense this). 2. It smells lovely, but not loudly 3. Nice serum consistency on the thicker side 4. It didn’t irritate my inner arm (Gonna wait to apply to my face until I’m not in the sun gardening). 5. I like that there was an article in “Self” magazine Online about this product. 6. From a cursory check at the EWG website, most if not all of these ingredients get a 1 or 2 for safety (please don’t believe me though, I wasn’t very thorough and couldn’t find all the chemicals listed there). 7. Good for 12 months once unsealed (the expiration is faintly visible on the bottom of the packaging, if viewed in sunlight, and is for 12/2026) 8. Precious Light *is* an authorized seller according to the folks at Dongyu, so this is the real deal.
Considerations: 1. Mine came with what appeared to be some possibly settled ingredients (yellow at the bottom of the glass tube). I contacted Dongyu per their website and shared the photos I’ve shown here, and they are willing to replace or refund the item. 2. Even though it’s the second ingredient after water, we don’t know what percent Retinol this is. UPDATE: Per Dongyu Beauty, it’s a 2% retinol solution 3. On another Amazon listings for this product it looks like between 5-10% of people end up with various product sensitivities (red skin, etc) which could possibly be related to the retinol.

This combination serum of retinol, caffeine, collagen, and hyaluronate is soothing and does seem to help somewhat with my undereye bags and lines. The rollerball applicator is ingenious — simply press down on the tip, and some of the serum seeps out around the ball. Then apply it by rolling the ball on the skin. The rollerball also acts as a massage.
The price is quite good, compared to bigger names for the same amount.

First, I love the idea of both the roller and the serum in one. Simple to apply and easy to travel with is the idea, I’m sure. Here is the problem. I pumped and pumped the container this morning and nothing came out. I can hear it in there when I shake it, but nothing came out to apply. Then I made the mistake of thinking maybe I should put it at an angle and then try. Well, it seeped out of the top where the roller ball connects. The good news is it was only a little. The bad news is it was only a little. It’s been a while since I had to reverse engineer a serum bottle, but I guess I’ll have to try that tonight.

I keep mine on the fridge so that may be what helps with the bags. Not sure that’s it’s the actual product or the cold rollerball but it helps decrease my bags.

I actually noticed a difference in puffiness and it rolls on easily without any bad smells of irritations. I love it!
