SHORT REVIEW: My Layman’s Impression is that Researched Nutritionals (R.N.) presents itself as a research driven company and purports to create “science backed” formulations aimed at specific issues (this one being aimed at low energy). This “NT Factor Energy” supplement includes a blend trademarked by Nutritional Theraputics Inc which is used by many other formulations/brands. The only authorized Amazon seller is Fortress Brand Wellness (Per the Researched Nutritional folks). Safety wise, this is what I found:
THE DETAILS
Transparency/History: Both Researched Nutritionals and Nutritional Theraputics (makers of the NT Factor blend) have in depth, detailed websites. According to “OurKidsASD” dot com (a vendor), “Researched Nutritionals® is a trusted provider of research-based dietary supplements. Founded in 2006 by CEO Dennis Schoen, the company’s mission is to develop formulations supported by ongoing clinical trials, demonstrating product efficacy.” Schoen previously worked at ProHealth, Inc. as a CEO.
Accountability: I could find little information about accountability. According to FXMed dot nz (another vendor) , “Researched Nutritionals® utilize independent laboratory testing to ensure consistently superior product quality, and perform third party clinical research on their products to demonstrate product performance in your patient population.” Researched Nutritionals replied to my email, saying that their manufacturing partners all have NSF certification (*Or the equivalent*). But my gold standard is NSF certification that I can verify. They sell several products that they claim have been researched, but I found access to those studies limited.
Quality: These are large tablets (caplets) which are shaped in a way that makes them easier to swallow (I was concerned I’d have difficulty, but I didn’t). They include trademarked ingredients, which I’ve always considered a sign of quality. These include instructions for a “loading” period where you take two tablets per meal (6 per day) for two months followed by a 1 tablet per meal (3 per day) regimen going forward. During the loading period this bottle would last 15 days (and 30 days thereafter).
Realistically this might be slightly harder supplement regimen to comply with, as it’s taken with 3 meals a day and involves a loading period (which would cost $256 for the first two months). Otherwise it gives the appearance of being a top notch product (though I’d like to be able to verify the Good Manufacturing Practice standards).

I’ve been on this about a month now along with 2 other supplements from them.
Even though I have a few issues with health, I usually can sense if something is working for me’
Unfortunately, this did not give me any pick-me-up I was hoping for. No change in energy level or feeling of elevated well being. However, it is a well put together ingredient combination which I like alot and I know health supplements are tricky business for how it works in the body. Because of my knowledge of the ingredients I will reserve any further discussion, except to say, research what you may need for help & make your own decision.

I don’t know what this product is doing but I have more energy. The most disheartening part is its ‘horse’ sized tablets. I try to just throw it into my blender when I make a smoothie. Hopefully, that isn’t depleting its super power.

I like what this products says it can do. I just started taking them and I hope they work as noted. The pills are pretty large, so they aren’t always easy to swallow. They are smooth-coated though, so that helps.

From reading other reviews, it sounds like these can take weeks or even months to really take full effect, so this review is limited to my initial impressions of the first two weeks of taking them. I’ll be updating this review with any changes of note, should there be substantial differences in how I feel or any measurable figures.
Upon first opening, you’ll notice these are BIG tablets. I’ve been an avid supplement user for years, even making my own vitamin/mineral/supplement stacks at times in 00-gauge capsules. I will say, these tablets are quite a bit more difficult to swallow than 00 capsules, and I’ve taken small handfuls of those at a time before.
These tablets are very well pressed and don’t break apart or create dust in your mouth, which is nice. They don’t really have a taste, but they are heavy and sink down to your tongue while trying to swallow, which makes them a little more difficult to take than the average pill. You get the hang of swallowing these after taking them for days in a row, so this isn’t a deal breaker by any means.
As for effects, it’s likely too early to truly feel a difference, but I’ve had some of my best-feeling, most energetic days in years while taking these. This is part of a number of health changes I’ve made recently, so I can’t say it’s 100% attributable to these alone, but these ingredients certainly aren’t hurting!
It’s early to tell if these are fully worth the cost, but I will update this review should I start to feel that truly they are, or are not, in a meaningful way.
