I really like the convenience and value of this powder vs buying bottles of hydration drinks. I also like that it’s 3rd party tested and in the USA. Very convenient and saves the planet without all those wasted plastic bottles. Good flavor and low carb

I regularly go to the gym for weight lifting practice and I got this to help me feel better during and after. It works well in that respect, I fell hydrated and less burnt out after exercise, however the taste is… unique? I can’t say it tastes like berries. Or anything really. It just kinda exists as something that makes me confused. Not enough to stop using it, but enough to note.

I have POTS, so I supplement with a lot of electrolytes/hydration supplements. I know this is a more varied product from that, inclusion of amino acids and BCAA, post workout recovery sports situation. I get that. On paper the ingredient list is pretty solid, give or take some sucralose and how you feel about that (I’m fine).
Generally when I’m picking up any kind of sports drink I default to lemon flavors as they tend to be more tart and I find that overrides any funk better for me than something more sweet. This dude I found to be cloyingly sweet, and I’m not sure if it’s the sucralose or what, but I think the lemon is kind of lost. The tart certainly is.
From there, the powder itself mixes alright, but is made a lot easier using a whisk. The texture of the powder is kind of that corn starchy clumpy floaty thing where you really need a shaker cup or a utensil of some kind of mix it. Once you mix it though the clumps are easily broken up and dissolve well. It’s so fine I think it bypasses any perceived grittiness, so as a texture thing it’s really not that bad past the initial mix.
The recovery part of the formulation seems decent. I don’t know that I’m the best test candidate as I haven’t noticed a whole lot of benefit, but I think formulas that really shine for me have a fair bit of potassium. It’s present here but doesn’t feel the same. Maybe it’s something in the blend that doesn’t work with me. That said it didn’t make me sick, irritate my digestion, or mess with me in any way. I wish I liked this better.

After a long walk with my dogs I tried The Universal U Replenish and Restore in my water and it taste great and quenched my thirst much better than plain water!! I am completely satisfied with this product.

I just heard about this new brand and couldn’t wait to try their product. The Lemon-Berry flavor was delish – great tasting and the product mixed really well in a glass of water. No clumps with minimal mixing effort. Love the comprehensive blend of aminos! This will definitely be part of our recovery routine

I want to start off by saying, I take a hydration and revovery supplement on a daily basis after workouts. This Universal Replenish and Restore arrived, it was not vacuumed sealed. Upon opening the powder burst out because it wasn’t sealed properly. For health and safety reasons it’s a concern. The container was only half full so I’m not sure if some spilled while in transit or if that how much it normally comes with. There is a moisture packet inside that says do not consume because of harmful chemicals. It seems strange for that to be inside, buried under, something you consume. I did not care for the taste. The lemon berry part in the front end tastes like an energy drink at first but the lingering aftertaste is gross. It also doesn’t have as much of the magnesium and postassim as most others.
