Decades of working as a handyman and plumber means lots of time down on knees…and now the predicted result: creaky knees that make popping sounds. The docs, of course, want to prescribe knee replacements.
I guy I know gets periodic injections right into the knee with HLA and he says it really helps. It holds off the inevitable.
While this version of HLA likely is not as effective as a direct injection, I’m adding it to my joints products regimen. It can’t hurt. Fingers and knees crossed!

This was my first time taking oral HA. It’s an ingredient I have plenty experience with in skincare products, and one that I’ve personally found beneficial for my skin.
Knowing these were manufactured in the US in an FDA registered facility made me comfortable with ingesting them. The bottle also had a plastic outer seal around the lid, as well as an inner seal. These do appear to be a high quality supplement.
The white capsules themselves are not very large, as you can see in my photo, so they’re easy to swallow. They have no taste. I’ve taken these on both an empty stomach and with food, and experienced no stomach discomfort either way. I like that the dosesge is only 1 capsule per day, meaning this is a 90 day supply. I think that’s a fair amount of time to discern whether these are for you or not.
While I initially was mostly interested in them for the skincare benefits, I do have high hopes for them helping with my joints too. As I approach my late 30’s, I can tell my joints aren’t what they used to be lol. I definitely want to do what I can to prevent serious joint issues down the road.
I’ve only been taking these for about 4 days at this point, and I read that it can take a few weeks for effects to be apparent, so I’m definitely going to continue taking them.
I’m not sure if these are the reason, but I will say that I did notice my skin looking better today than it normally does. Nothing drastic, just a bit better hydrated and brighter in tone.
Make a Difference –
Growing up and going through puberty, I didn’t really have any battles with acne or difficult skin. Sure, being fair-skinned I had to be careful in the sun, but that was about it. Any cleansers, make-up or moisturizers would be fine to use.
Fast forward to Menopause and aging skin, and I’m making up for cruising through puberty with few skin issues. Besides the consistent cleanser in the trusted blue jar, as soon as I think I’ve found a moisturizer that my face seems to like and use it for awhile- NOPE! – it’s time to find something different.
I’ve heard a lot about Hyaluronic Acid and seen several famous actresses endorsing products containing HA, but I hadn’t looked into it much. But when I did, i was surprised to see that Hyaluronic Acid can be taken internally and also helps Joints and Bone Health! So rather than be like Goldilocks and try to find the “just right” products that agree with my face for a short time, I decided to go with the internal supplement route since I could definitely benefit from some bone and joint help.

At first glance, the price appears “pricey”, but the bottle contains a quantity of 90, which at one capsule a day, that’s a 3-month supply, so it isn’t so bad. The bottle has a convenient flip up cap to dispense servings-I just need to REMEMBER that it isn’t a twist off cap haha. There’s no funny smell or taste to the capsule and it goes down smoothly. I also don’t notice any negative after affects with my stomach or digestion, from daily use the past couple of weeks. For benefits, since it can take several weeks, the assessment is ongoing, for overall results. However, my skin does appear to have more moisture and not so dried out, which is hard to tell for sure because it’s summer, with high temps and sweating. But the moisture seems kind of different. I also feel as though some achy joints aren’t complaining as much.
I’m definitely finishing the bottle, and maybe even gettingg another 3 month supply to take me into the winter months and colder weather, for a complete assessment of skin, bone and joint reactions in different conditions.

Having now been taking this for about 2 months, I believe I am starting to see some improvement in my right knee as a result of a ski injury that caused partial tears in my ACL, PCL and MCL. Although the discomfort in my knees is still that and just now part of normal life, I not sensing it as much after taking these Hyaluronic acid capsules. Whether or not this is due to this product alone or while taking with other MSM and Chondroitin products, I’m not really sure but so far this combination appears to be working, and I will continue to use as such.
With regards to the capsule size, I would say they’re medium in size and easy for me to swallow with a sip of water. Would definitely recommend this to others seeking alternative therapies associated with knee pain or discomfort.
Bridge –
This is such a convenient way to take hyaluronic acid, I’m used to taking it in powder form so having it in capsules is awesome. I’ve been taking these everyday and I feel that my skin has gotten softer noticeably since adding these, and I even feel like the texture has improved. I’ve had no negative side effects taking these, whether it’s been with food or without food. I believe that these are making a noticeable difference in the visual quality and even moisture levels of my skin. I believe this is a high quality supplement and I will absolutely continue taking it.
