This product gave me lasting moisture that went deep into my skin. This made a huge improvement in my dry skin. Also this moisturizer worked great to revitalize my complexion.
After using it, my skin felt refreshed, softer, and much more hydrated. It left my face feeling smooth and looking healthy, and the hydration lasted for a long time.

I’m a big fan of Korean skincare, and I’ve been using it almost exclusively lately. This is a well-known brand that I was excited to test for my combination 40-s skin, bordering on dry because I’m currently on tretinoin daily.
Like most Korean products, the box came sealed with a little plastic seal. You have to break it to open the box, and I always appreciate it so I know nobody opened it before me. The jar inside has an included spatula that sits on top of the inner lid. This way you don’t have to dip your fingers every time and can keep it hygienic.
There’s also an expiration date that gives me 3 years to use the jar, plus you have 12 months since opening it.
The cream is of a thicker consistency, has a slight smell of something very herbal, I’m assuming it’s juniper that is listed in the ingredients. There is no fragrance added, but just a heads up if you want a completely unscented skincare. The fragrance that you get with this doesn’t linger at all, especially once the cream absorbs, there’s nothing left. And I am sensitive to smells, so I prefer skin care that doesn’t remind me of itself for a very long time.
The cream applied easily, even though it’s slightly on a thicker side but not as thick as some heavyweight winter moisturizers. I used it in the morning in August when it’s still hot, and it did sit on my skin for a while, but then completely absorbed and left me looking slightly glowy. I still apply sunscreen on top, so it made my sunscreen application even easier without pilling or having me rub for too long. Made it glide on actually.
I’m very satisfied with the cream, and I think it’s great for dry skin to use both morning and evening, but if you have a true combination or oily skin, maybe stick to it in the evening.

This is a nice light skin cream that quickly and completely absorbed into my skin leaving it soft, supple, and moisturized. There’s no residue or oiliness after it’s absorbed.
There’s no added scent, but it does have a very mild refreshing scent with notes of juniper.
I’ve tried a number of different face creams and this is one of the better ones. I see a substantial difference in the softness and moisture level of my skin after using this cream.
It comes in a clear hard plastic 50ml (1.69 oz) jar with a screw on lid. There’s a plastic scoop included that fits inside the lid. The jar came in a box with a tamper-resistant sticker over the flap that was in place. The EXP is 2027/03/05.
I find the price of $24.00 to be reasonable. I would definitely buy this again.
As a side note, this Real Barrier Extreme Cream Light is made in the Republic of Korea.

This is a keeper. While it’s a bit on the pricey side for what I like to pay for skincare, it is well worth it. A little goes a long way, and it’s rich without being thick or oily.
I am in my 40s, and while I use my retinol and vit c serums to keep fine lines and discoloration away, my main expectation with a moisturizer is hydration. I want my skin to feel supple and Dewey, not easy as I get older. This does the job. I love how it absorbs in easily, doesn’t leave me feeling greasy, and has a barely perceptable fresh scent.

Real Barrier Extreme Cream is a light facial moisturizer that is not too heavy. I like the way it absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave any residue. I didn’t experience any irritation while using, but I also didn’t really notice any major skin changes either, even after using multiple weeks. I was interested in this cream since it is supposed to strengthen the skin barrier. It does moisturize, but don’t see differences in my skin. I have combination skin and this was a nice cream for the summer, but don’t think it would be moisturizing enough for me for the winter.

Real Barrier’s “Extreme Cream Light 1.69 Fl Oz, Daily Soft Cream Type Facial Moisturizing Soothing Cream with Hyaluronic Acid and Ceramides for Sensitive Skin, Strengthen Skin Barrier, Korean Skin Care,” seems like a well-made facial moisturizer with healthier ingredients than other facial moisturizers I’ve looked at. This applies smoothly and nicely, kept my skin moisturized and hydrated without looking greasy. It’s perfect to use before applying a liquid foundation. I love how this moisturizer is non-comedogenic as I’m prone to getting acne and this moisturizer doesn’t seem to clog up my pores. I also love how this doesn’t have a strong lingering scent, as I’m sensitive to certain scents. Price-wise, this is also pretty reasonable.
I highly recommend this to others.
