My calcium arrived, and I promptly opened the bottle, took out the recommended dosage, and began to chew – a MOST serious mistake!
I don’t know why all of the reviews here talk about taste and texture. The lozenge shape made me wonder, but it only took a second to confirm that these tabs were never meant to be used in any other way than to be swallowed like any other non-chewable supplement.
That being said, they really are smaller and much easier to get down than that terrible horse-pill size that most calcium supplements come in. If you want an easy-to-swallow pill, this is a definite best choice. If you are looking for one that you can chew, well, keep looking. This isn’t it.
I rated this a five as the bottle itself doesn’t claim to be anything other than a smaller, easier-to-swallow supplement.

Very happy with Rainbow Light’s calcium citrate. I have a problem taking magnesium and many calcium supplements contain it. This Rainbow Light product contains no magnesium and is easy to swallow so it works for me. I’ve been using it for several months now and am grateful for it.

I bought these after I couldn’t swallow the other calcium tablets (way too big). However, I still have difficulty with these, although not as much as with the other product I bought.

First I want to say I like this product! The package calls them mini but they aren’t that small! I still have trouble swallowing but that is mostly me! The great thing is they don’t make me nauseated as many calcium supplements do. Are they absorbed well? I can’t tell but at least I’m able to take them!

I read reviews before purchasing an item and others said this pill was too big. I am used to minis but decided to try this anyway. They are bigger than the minis but are slender and easy to swallow, as some of the other reviewers said. I gave this a 5 on flavor but I had to laugh because I swallow it and as far as I can tell it has no flavor! I think this is a good thing😊

The size of these supplements makes them so much easier to swallow, whereas, the regular calcium pills are sooo hard to get down. I have no bad issues with the minis.

I haven’t noticed any effect on my stomach and these help me get my vitamin D in and my Calcium.
My question is do they claim to be “mini-tablets” because they are not large chewable ones or something? One tablet could fit on a quarter.
They are rather dry so make sure to swallow them with something because a serving size is 4 of these large pills.
