I have sensitive skin. I regularly use Cerave soap bar for my face with no issues. I tried this African black soap and it stripped and irritated my skin so bad. Will never use again.

This soap is exactly what I expected it to be, I love how it is slightly squishy texture and has no scent. It is the real deal not like some bars out there claiming to be African black soap, but are hard bars with charcoal added to them.will def buy again, I cut mine in half, and put one half in the shower away from direct water and the other half to wash my face to get any make up residue off my face after I have used oils to melt my makeup off.it never drys my skin out, I am 37.

Complete and total rip off due to the size and what I paid compared to other brands! I will not buy again! They do not allow returns!
The soap is good quality! Smells good! Works extremely well with my skin!

Not sure what I received, but this is not black soap its nasty and runny, sticky and disgusting, looks like animal poop. I have used black soap from other companies in the past and never have been disappointed. I may send a sample to a lab to have it tested to see what it REALLY IS!
UPDATE: I Was able to reach out to them and I m very satisfied with the way they handled the situation and resolved my issue quickkg

As a Black Man who has to shave, I’ve try to be careful what I use on my face. I was use a expensive regimen to prevent razor bumps. I took a chance on this soap and I’m now hooked on it. I started washing my fave with it before I shaved, it was little irritating at first by my skin got used to it after about 4 days. I noticed my skin was getting clearer and firmer. After about a month I can shave using a bladed razor with just soap and water with No problems! My results are my own and I wouldn’t tell any other other Bruh to do this but I’m glad I Did! I’m still on my first bar and for 5 bucks this is a Steal! I just reordered 2 more bars. Dueces!!

This type of soap is very soft and needs to be kept in a dish, and limit contact with water as it breaks apart rapidly. But I still love this soap and the way it feels with my sensitive skin. I will continue to purchase this and I do recommend it for all skin types.
The smell is earthy in a good way, and the size of the soap is worth the price.
