I have been buying this for several years. It works quite well. What disappoints me is that it has gone up in price by $20 over the past 6 months and the active ingredient in the formulation has dropped from 150 to 120 mg per serving. I will look for an alternative to this.

I think this is a good company – I’ve been fortunate enough to try a few of their supplements, and have also been satisfied with the quality. The most attractive aspect of this supplement, in my opinion, is that it offers immediate effect (not that I can actually test this…. But assuming that it does – i feel that’s very helpful)…

This Quicksilver Scientific Immune Charge+ Zinc Ionophore – Zinc Supplement is of great quality, and it doesn’t give me any digestive issues or nasty “vitamin burps” like lower quality supplements usually do. They’re really easy to take and swallow with a simple glass of water, and I love the blend in this particular formula. No complaints here – it gets two thumbs up from me!

The ingredients are a great combination and known to help with immunity. However, it is another one of those you don’t really know if they are helping or not. Being a person with a compromised immune system, I decided to try them. They are easy to swallow with no aftertaste or nasty burps. Zinc is usually hard on my stomach, but these are not.
Even though I believe this product is well worth it’s current price, it is out of my price range being on social security, I probably won’t buy more.

We’ve tried several Zinc supplements and let me explain why one is strongly worth considering: As you likely know, zinc can be an effective supplement for its antioxidant properties and helping to ward off colds and bugs, particularly in the colder months. This product from Quicksilver includes 10 mg per serving, or 91% of the daily value. Although this is much less than other, less expensive brands, worthy Quercetin is also included. If you don’t already know, Quercetin is a flavonoid found naturally in many plants including nettle, and foods, too. It highly regarded for its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory qualities. From the perspective of my wife and I, this is an excellent product yet $2.17 per daily dose of two capsules is higher than we are used to paying. As always, before embarking on any supplementation, consult your physician first.
