This amino acid blend has worked pretty well for me this week, as I feel noticeably less muscle soreness following a workout as opposed to not taking this blend. All the ingredients seem to be of good quality, as the powder is a fine grain, and doesn’t leave any clumps or large particles after mixing thoroughly.
As for the taste, it’s not great, but not bad either. It’s vaguely fruity, though more floral I’d say, and is a kind of taste that I would typically expect from a supplement. The aftertaste is a little bit bitter, but not overwhelmingly so. The flavor might take some getting used to, especially if you prefer sweeter drinks, but it’s nonetheless not unpleasant, and might be preferable if you enjoy floral teas or less sweet drinks.
The container the powder comes in is fine and standard, but the scooper is quite large and wide. I typically pour supplement powders into a normal 500ml bottle of drinking water, then shake the bottle to mix the powder, so the size of the included scooper is just too wide to easily pour the powder into a normal-sized bottle of drinking water; however, it is recommended to use 20-24oz of water per serving/scoop, so if you have a wider-mouthed water bottle to fit the 20-24oz recommendation then you won’t have any problems of course. Side note: I did try 1 scoop of the powder with the recommended 24oz of water, and the next day I tried another 1 scoop with 16.9oz of water, and the taste wasn’t much different either way.
One last note about the container: I’m a bit confused about the expiration date, since the manufacturing date is listed normally as “MFG 11/21”, but the apparent expiration date is just listed as “26093801”. So I assume it expires in September of 2026, and the last 4 numbers listed are irrelevant? Other than that, I couldn’t see any other expiration date listed on the packaging, so I would prefer if it was listed normally in the “00/00” format to avoid confusion.
Overall, this supplement blend is of fairly good quality. I had good results post-workout after using it, so I can mostly forgive the not bad/not great taste. I also appreciate that the ingredients list is short, so you’re not putting many unnecessary things into your body. I’m fairly happy with this amino acid blend, and would recommend it for someone who wants a no-nonsense, low ingredient supplement to aid in their post-workout recovery.

I’ve been ordering this for a few months directly from p.volve, but was thrilled to see it on Amazon w/ free shipping. It’s delicious. I look forward to it after my morning workout. Somehow packs the equivalent to 40 grams of protein – tastes way better than any protein shake – better than most things honestly, tastes better than things like liquid IV or nuun. Due to life, I had not had a chance to workout in 2 months. I finally decided to go back to my normal workout routine yesterday and fully expected to be very sore today, but after using this product, I experienced almost no muscle pain all day! I didn’t think it would work, but I am impressed! I prepared a full 24oz bottle of this stuff, drank about 8oz before my workout, took a few sips during, and finished the rest after my workout. I also drank another 48oz the following day, when I expected to experience the soreness, but it never set in!
The powder completely dissolves in water without leaving any gritty texture. The flavor is refreshing, not too sweet, and I really like the taste. I love that it is made from stevia and monk fruit, so it does not elevate my blood sugar. I’m really glad that I found this. I no longer have the muscle soreness that can often linger for days, making it hard to stay on track with workouts. Now I am able to get back into my routine quicker. This Pvolve Recover power has definitely made a difference in my workouts and overall fitness progress.

I workout hard 5 days a,week. I’m always sore somewhere on my body. I tried this product to see if it reduced soreness and kept me in my workouts.
The powder is pink and has an included scoop. The scoop is a little large to easily pour the powder into my hydroflask.
I tried this with the recommended amount of water and it doesn’t taste good or bad. It tastes like a weak herbal tea maybe. But then there’s the sugar aftertaste. I hate that. So many products include stevia and monk fruit and i just don’t like the taste. This is no different.
The powder didn’t fully dissolve in my water. I didn’t realize it until I cleaned out my bottle later. There was a big clump in the bottom of my bottle. I guess shaking it in a bottle isn’t enough.
I think this product helped my recovery but I may not have gotten the full dose. Each time I used it, half the powder was in the bottom of my bottle.
Not the best tasting and I couldn’t get it properly dissolved. Couldn’t find an expiration date and it doesn’t say where it’s made.

I use this product in my smoothies – it has amazing flavor and it seems to help with the recovery process after a hard workout.

This recovery powder smells like a fruit roll up, but tastes fairly similar to a flintstone vitamin. It never dissolves fully in water, so it’s a little gritty, but the overall taste is fine. It does seem to help a lot with muscle soreness after a workout as well, so it does work as advertised.
My biggest gripe with this product is the price point. I think it’s unreasonably steep for the amount you get.
