This highlighter is one of the weirder ones that I’ve tried. It has a ton of shimmer but not very much actual color. A little does go a long way when it comes to the glitter and it does blend fairly well. The consistency of it is thick at some points and thin in others depending on how long it sits. It seems to kind of separate a little. Overall, the shimmer is intense and pretty but it is a bit pricy for what it is.

This highlighter didn’t do much for me. It’s easy to blend and matches my skin tone so well I don’t even notice it, except for a more finished look. I don’t notice any shimmer either, in fact I only notice the sparkle on my fingers which I use to blend it. I would not get it again.

First, I would like to mention that this product is cruelty-free, vegan, and free of all the chemical garbage we are all trying to avoid. It’s important to me that my cosmetics are not tested on animals, and I am glad to see that Purlisse shares that passion.
I was so glad to see this come across my screen. I have used a couple of purlisse products in the past and have been rather happy with them. (Check out their 2-in-1 Cheek Lip Tint Stick. Love it!) So, I wasn’t totally unfamiliar with this brand when I saw it. I knew it was a K-beauty brand and that my skin usually loves K-beauty products. This product was a bit different. Maybe I ordered the wrong color. The glitter particles – and they are glitter particles, not a fine bit of mica or something – are very “chunky,” for lack of a better word. Much chunkier than I want to put on my middle-aged face. I thought I would be ok because I tend to do pretty well with BB creams – this one just didn’t work out so well. I have to add such a minute amount that it’s hard to get that small of an amount on the skin and blended out without it looking patchy. I did try mixing a bit with my foundation, and it gave me more of a glow than a circus on my face. There isn’t much tint that goes with this, so it works well to be combined with another product that provides coverage. I don’t have a lot of texture on my skin, but I do have some, and I didn’t notice that this either improved it or made it worse. Maybe on younger skin this would look better – it was just a bit much for me. I still love the purlisse brand and will continue to try their products!

This is a more subtle highlight which I personally like. Blends out decently but I would work section by section and blend as you go so it doesn’t set in place.

I got this in “peach gold”. It’s really pretty. Has a lot of shimmer to it but as some others stated, you can’t quite see the color it’s suppose to be. A little goes a long way since it’s so shimmery. It does blend in nicely in the skin and is perfect for inner eye corners, brow and cheek bone highlight. Or really anywhere you want some highlight/shimmer.

Love the products from this company and this is another keeper. Really pretty color even on my olive fair skin. A little goes a long way so this tube will last forever. No breakouts, easy to blend, and no weird smells. I love this highlighter.
