Let me start off by saying why I’m giving this CoQ10/Resveratrol supplement 4 stars rather than 5. There are 2 reasons. 1. A couple of the other ingredients are things I would rather not put into my body. 2. From what I can tell, these are not made in the USA. Supplements made in countries like China worry me as the ingredients there are not as safe as ingredients made in the USA. I’m posting a pic of the list of other ingredients so I don’t have to spell everything out myself, so hopefully it posts.
CoQ10 and Resveratrol are both great supplements for the heart so this is a great supplement to take fo heart health. My son has a heart murmur due to a bicuspid aortic valve and it was recommended that he take 200 mg of CoQ10 daily. He’s a teenager but, if he was younger, this would be a great way to get it into him since younger kids are sometimes not great at swallowing pills. Some adults are not thrilled about swallowing pills either so these melts would be a good option. In additon to the 100 mg of Coenzyme Q10 and 30 mg of Resveratrol you get in 2 melts, you are also getting 2,000 IU of Vitamin A (as beta carotene, which is good as you can’t take too much beta carotene but you can take too much Vitamin A), 1,000 IU of Vitamin D (the majority of adults are deficient in Vitamin D and 1,000 IU/day is a good dose), 60 IU of Vitamin E (and it’s d alpha which is better than dl alpha), which is also good for your heart, 300 mcg of B12 (this is not a huge dose of B12 but may be enough to increase your energy a bit). There are supplenetns that have much larger amounts of resveratrol than this but, keep in mind, people who think they’re getting lots of resveratrol by drinking wine are only getting about .2 mg (yes, there is a decimal in front of that 2) per glass. That is 1/5 of 1 mg. You’d have to drink a huge amount of red wine to get the 30 mg of resveratrol you’re getting in this supplement. The melts are pretty small and have a kind of citrus like taste but are not sweet and pretty tangy. They do not taste horrible but they don’t taste great either. They dissolve very quickly so you don’t have to wait forever, waiting for them to melt, before you swallow.
CoQ10 can help you maintain healthy BP and healthy cholesterol levels.In addition to supporting a strong heartbeat and other cardiac benefits, CoQ10 can help prevent migraines, slow macular degeneration, and fight cancer! It is my favorite antioxidant and, since my double organ transplant over 15 years ago, I have been taking it faithfully. I am in the small percentage of transplant recipients who has not developed cancer 10 years or more after transplant and I have always suspected CoQ10 to be a major part of the reason for that. I have no scientific proof, just what I suspect. I have had very low energy the last few months and I noticed shortly after starting to use these melts, my energy started to return. It could be coincidence or it could very well be that, due to the absorption of these, they are making a difference for me. I tend to think the latter.

CoQ10 has been recommended for some 20 years for people with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, and other immune system related diseases and disorders. I was diagnosed at the age of 19 with both of those disorders, later to find out that I actually have two autoimmune diseases, Lupus and Fibromyalgia. I will do and have done anything and everything to improve my quality of life by working on my health, which includes both copious amounts of medications via Western medicine as well as alternative treatments, when I can afford those, and, of course, a healthy diet, and exercise when I am physically able to do it. I love these CoQ10 Daily tablets because they dissolve under the tongue and have the taste of Vitamin C or an orange. They are actually delicious. And so you don’t feel like you are putting some disgusting, vile-tasting substance under your tongue and sucking on it. CoQ10 can take a very long time to work, so if you are only now starting to use it, do not expect to see immediate results, particulalry on bloodwork. Most Western doctors do not even believe in the usage of alternative therapies like these, but thousands upon thousands of patients over the years have testified to the advantages of CoQ10, and frankly, I learned over the past 22 years of dealing with chronic illness that doctors surely do not know everything, and pretty much none of them have ever walked in my shoes. So my advice is to try CoQ10 if you are looking for immune system support, and give it some time to work. This particular product has the advantage of being sublingual, so it hits your bloodstream without having to go through the digestive system first, making it more potent. I highly recommend it.

I take a statin drug and top cardiologists STRONGLY recommend that if one has had open heart surgery and is on a statin drug, they definitely should also take CoQ10.
