I got this prebiotic mix to try on my drinks, I like it is easy to mix with my beverages but I didn’t know it’s watermelon flavored, I rather prefer flavor less taste. I use it once a day it contains dietary fiber, antioxidants like fruit extracts, with a blend of greens grass. The container it’s only 30 servings which is fine for one month, I haven’t had any issues and it seems a good supplement for anyone looking to improve their immune system

This is a fairly standard value-priced organic greens blend: grasses (barley, alfalfa, wheatgrass); algae: chlorella; bacteria: spirulina (plus a pinch of l. Rhamnosus). I’m taking off a star because, although it has two garden greens in spinach and parsley, i wish they and others like them were the primary greens in the blend rather than what looks and smells like mostly grasses. (The label doesn’t specify how much of each beyond 3.5g of all those greens per 7 gram serving.) The rest of the blend is mostly flax hulls and acacia fiber, 2.2g per 7g serving, which is more fiber than other greens blend I’ve tried and seems a bit much to me for a “greens” supplement. There’s also a classic antioxidant blend with extracts like acerola, blueberry and green tea, but only 500mg per serving of that. However, I really like that they include a pinch of full-spectrum enzyme mix. It’s a little odd it mentions “organic watermelon flavor” (?) to me it tastes unflavored yet sweetened due to the stevia (I’ve had truly unsweetened blends and they can be quite bitter to my taste). In a banana/berry/yogurt/oj smoothie it goes down fine. Overall, a good value blend for the price.

First off, greens powders do not look pretty if you just mix with water. I would highly suggest using this in a smoothie so it doesn’t look like you’re drinking pond water. If you can get over that mental block, then it’s fine. I also mix this with probably double the amount of water that it says, because in general I find things like this are way too strong tasting and don’t mix in enough for my liking. Even with double the water and lots of shaking, I still ended up with some residue that the bottom. The taste of this is totally fine. I was expecting the worst based on what this looks like and was pleasantly surprised. There is also no fake sugar in it which I really really appreciate because most fake sugars do not agree with my stomach and make me sick. It says it’s Watermelon Flavored, and I would not go as far to say that I tasted that but it has a lightly fruity and sweet taste to it. This is absolutely the best greens powder I have tried so far. It dissolves nicely, it’s smooth, and I really like the no fake sugars. These powders don’t replace eating fruits or veggies, but if you’re a busy person who doesn’t always eat the best, it can help things out at least.
REMY REVIEWS –
I’ve used various brands of “greens powder” that are quite similar to this one, and this one seems to be about on par with some of the other popular choices on the market right now. It’s slightly more affordable, and comes with slightly fewer ingredients than my current product of choice.
Like most, or all, the ingredients are given to you in “blends.” This means they do not tell you how much of any specific ingredient is in the product. I’m not a fan of this but it seems to be the standard. You’ll get an organic greens blend, organic fiber blend, organic antioxidant blend and prebiotic/probiotic/enzyme blend. You can look on the listing photos for each specific ingredient within the blends to determine if you’ll want to take this but, in my opinion, it seems to be fairly well put together blends.
It also seems to include more fiber than your typical greens powder when you consider the serving sizes. At 7 gram servings, it includes 2 grams of dietary fiber per 7 gram serving when most in my experience will include 1-2 grams of dietary fiber with 10 gram servings and, as you may suspect, the fiber does help keep you regular when you take this on a frequent basis.
The product claims to have a watermelon flavor (with other natural flavors) but I honestly can’t taste any watermelon. It just seems to be a sweetened unflavored powder to me. The stevia included is where you get the sweetness, and I’d prefer it wasn’t included but for those who drink this with just water, it does help. I tried my first serving with just water for the flavor but quickly decided I would just go back to my typical routine of adding a scoop in my smoothies.
Overall, I am happy with the ‘Puritan’s Pride Organic Greens Powder.’ At the price, and servings, it seems like a good affordable option.

I don’t use zero calorie sweeteners at all. I added this to my morning smoothie and it was so sweet, with the after taste of fake sugar. I can always taste it, and I really wish it would have mentioned that.

This was too sweet for me, but otherwise the flavor is good. It adds some grit to the smoothie, but that doesn’t really bother me. I didn’t realize it contained an ingredient I’m mildly allergic to, so I had to discard it after sampling. I this this will work for some, but not for all, so it’s 3 stars for me.

I like mixing this powder into my morning smoothie to try and hide the sweet flavor of it. It’s a watermelon flavor, but to me I just taste a very sweet candy type flavor? Which isn’t my favorite but definitely tastes better than regular “green mixes”
