This makes a huge difference for arthritis pain if you take it every day. People with tendency to blood clot need to avoid turmeric with additional herbs added in, and this particular turmeric is pure so it works well for us. I’ve been using turmeric pills for about 3 years now. This is usually the better priced and noticed it’s a higher dosage. I take turmeric as I’m borderline fibro and it helps along with diet and exercise. This is my only drug. I love the brand name as my mother bought vitamins from them. They are good quality and well priced.

This is a great supplement to take if you have pain caused by inflammation. I have terrible chronic joint and back pain and this has helped as an adjunct to my other treatments.
You really don’t want to take the turmeric with black pepper/bioperine if you take prescription medications without specifically clearing it with a doctor, so this and other brands that DON’T contain black pepper or bioperine are a safer choice if you take prescription medication. The black pepper/ bioperine (they are the same thing) changes the way medications are metabolized and can lead to an increased level of the medication in your blood plasma, so a normal dose can suddenly become an overdose. I take propranolol, a heart medication to slow down a too rapid heart rate, and that is one of the medications that can be effected and one of the most commonly prescribed types of medications since it’s in a class of medication which also treats high blood pressure. So if you take any prescription medications it’s probably safer to skip the added black pepper and just do the turmeric. It doesn’t work miracles and isn’t a magic cure, but it’s a good thing to add to a treatment regime if you’re fighting pain and/or inflammation, it’s got some good science supporting it’s efficacy, and has been used for hundreds of years.

I bought this for my 64 years mom because i happened to read about it. She was suffering from multiple causes of pains due to inflamed disc, fybromialgia, arthritis in arms and very painful knee pain. Her doctor put her on anti depressant medication to calm the nerves pain in her whole body. She was depressed and miserable and i live far from her and did not know what to do. I bought her this turmeric, and the Milk Thistle because she has a fatty liver too. It is like a miracle happened, she feels so much better, and we keep wondering which really helped and i think this along with Milk Thistle 1000mg are miracle supplements.I later read also that the Turmeric with black pepper extract combination is better as the black pepper (bioperine) allows the body to absorb the Turmeric better. she bought that from Costco but has not tried it yet. I have bought this product 3x. I have always had a good experience until the last purchase. I think I got an old bottle of turmeric 😕
The bottle size was much bigger and the capsules are more brown than yellow.
