It’s a good product: Non-GMO, Vegetarian, cGMP compliant and made in the USA. Capsules are small and go down easy.
Concerns around the flow agents is overdone. It would take a massive amount of each to exceed the FDA recommended limit.
My issue is the overall value. Another brand I use offers 75 servings of 1000mg for about 25% less money whereas this one only offers 30 servings at 1000mg a day (60 servings at 500mg). With all else equal, I always go for the best value (lowest cost per equivalent serving).

For the last 6 years, not a day has gone by where I don’t take some Acetyl L-Carnitine, I LOVE it so much. I tell others about how great it is and how it is superb for mitochondrial wellness, as well as supporting cognitive wellness. Its my ride-or-die of supplements. I normally buy Acetyl L-Carnitine in powder form and fill up the capsules myself, as that seems to be the best way to get the best quantity vs buck ratio AND while avoiding the fillers and flow agents that are usually found in all capsule supplements. However, that can get super messy and a pain in the backside to do and this ingredient often develops A LOT of moisture and also clumps together, plus you cant really pack the capsules in bulk and store them without some sort of flow agent, as the acidity of Acetyl L-Carnitine seems to eat through the capsule. This product PURE Formulas is a great option if you don’t want to clown around with DIYing the capsules yourself and dealing with what I described. Yes, buying this product means that it does come with the flow agents, but I am not sure you can avoid them when dealing with Acetyl L-Carnitine, considering its chemical properties/behavior. As of the writing of this review, PURE Formulas offer Acetyl L-Carnitine at a great price for 60 capsules (but I understand prices often shift up and down on Amazon so that may not be a valid point at a later date). I also opened up the capsules and tasted the contents to confirm that it is Acetyl L-Carnitine, and I can say its the real deal. Definitely recommend this product if it remains stably priced at the price of writing this interview.

I like Carnitine for the health benefits. This is a good dosing and pill size. I like that this is also vegan. The company seems like a good quality company with great standards plus been around a while. This has filler but most do. Glad to have this product.

I recently got the Acetyl L-Carnitine supplement and tested it out. The packaging seems to be well done and the supplement itself seems fine. There’s no noticeable taste or aftertaste. I cannot verify the claims of improved memory or cognitive function though. I didn’t personally notice any change from taking it. That may just be the way it interacts with my body though, so if this seems like something you want to try don’t let it detour you from doing so.

I have been taking this Acetyl L-Carnitine supplement for a little bit now and cannot state my memory is better or worse than not taking it. Generally, I have a pretty good memory. This pill is of reasonable size, the flavor and smell is not the best. I have noticed a small little spike in energy, but not sure if that is a placebo effect.
