I’ve used plenty of beauty products with Shea butter as an ingredient but I’ve never had just pure Shea. I know that it’s known to be an excellent moisturizer for dry and sensitive skin so I was really excited to try this. I’ve only used it on my hands for a few days and I can’t believe the difference it’s already making. You only need a tiny bit and it even seems to last through hand washings most of the day before I have to reapply.

This BTEFLS pure organic shea butter applies smooth; there is a faint nutty scent. It helped by really dry hands.

I didn’t like the way it stayed so oily afterwards. I eventually wiped it off. I doubt I’ll use this for my hands again, but it may work well for something that can be covered like my heels.

Great for that winter dry skin. Nothing extra added makes it perfect for sensitive skin. It moisturizes very well.

I try everything for my dry skin I can get my hands on in the winter. Most things have shea butter as an ingredient, but somehow I have never tried just pure shea butter. This is really wonderful stuff. I don’t really notice any smell, at least nothing unpleasant, and just a small scoop or scrape with the back of my fingernail is more than enough to do both hands with a nice thin layer. I absorbs very quickly and my “crepe paper” on the backs of my old hands is gone for many hours. There is enough here to last me quite a long time!

This is a solid cream. There is a little miniature scooper included. I scooped out what looked like a normal amount and it ended up being way too much. It is extremely concentrated, so start with just a little. I put it on my hands and had to rub for a long time. It’s almost like rubbing oil on, creates a very high sheen. Only has a faint scent. Nice.

Ahhh, shea butter. I used shea butter many years ago when I was pregnant with my rather large babies. It helped my skin to feel better as it was being stretched over the months (quite stretched, they WERE rather large babies). I hadn’t used it for a number of years, but thought it would be nice to have again.

This shea butter is just lovely, and has a very (very) light scent. I seem to remember shea butter having a stronger fragrance, but that could have been due to either a crazy strong sense of smell every time I was pregnant (which was not much fun in general), or perhaps what I used to buy had added fragrance? I didn’t pay attention to those things back then.

If you are not familiar with shea butter, it is almost hard, it’s so thick. A little goes a long way, and yes, it looks and feels sort of greasy on your skin. However, it absorbs quickly, and is wonderful in winter for your lips. You can even use it to make your own lip balm and lotions, if you are into trying the many recipes you can find on the web.

The only drawback to this particular shea butter is that it just seems more expensive than some other brands. But I haven’t purchased the others, so I really can’t compare the quality. This one is really nice!

I ordered this to use in making DIY natural deodorant. It seemed to work really well for this with no issues. Not the cheapest jar of Shea butter out there but not the most expensive either.

This shea body butter feels and smells amazing. As we are heading into colder and drier months, this butter will be my best friend. My body from top to bottom gets so dry and I need body butter, not lotion. Lotion just doesn’t cut it in the winter. I can actually use this on my hair too. When I say top to bottom, that’s what I mean. I love that it’s 100 percent natural and organic. My skin feels so good and rehydrated after using this shea butter, highly recommended.
