I obtained it for my own use as a nutraceutical. Protease enzymes could possibly help to dissolve away cardiovascular lesions and small lung scars. In addition, they can reduce blood viscosity, which is beneficial for high intensity exercise, especially during athletic competition.
A dose should be taken orally while one’s stomach is empty. This powder must be dispersed in water before swallowing, but if it is simply added to water, even warm water, it will agglomerate and then become practically impossible to disperse. The easiest way to avoid this problem is to premix it with an equal volume of nonsticky powder that is water soluble, such as MSM. An even better solution is to premix it with one or more nonclumping protease enzyme powders (such as bromelain and/or papain), as the combination of multiple protease enzymes produces a synergistic effect.

I have been buying this product for two years and now all of a sudden they have changed it. This product does not look,taste or smell like Nattokinase. No telling what it is and guess what Amazon won’t even let you return it.

It is easily taken in a little water with a very mild taste that is not unpleasant. Better value than buying it encapsulated.
