I was previously using a liquid D3 formulated from wool oil. My body has since developed a sensitivity to lanolin and so I went looking for a vegan product. Having had success with other Pure Encapsulations products, they were my first choice for purity and efficacy. My body tolerates this product well. And I was shocked that there really is no flavor. That’s a win in my book!

My vitamin D is always abysmally low, until now! Finally normal and these levels aren’t so high I’d have to worry about calcifications etc

This bottle of D3 drops has a taste like they are bad. Please advise on this product whether it is old and turned bad or what has happened that it should have a weird taste. I have used these for years and never had a taste to them before.

My annual check up at the doctor indicated low Vitamin D in my system. I have been using this for two months and look forward to my next lab panel to see the effects. I like the use of a dropper versus a bottle where you have to “squeeze” the whole bottle to obtain the right number of drops. Some users of this product objected to the bottle being “half full”. My bottle was half full as well. However, how full the bottle is has no bearing on the product quantity. 10ml is about 1 US Tablespoon. That is roughly how much was in my bottle upon delivery. If the bottle size matched the volume of the liquid sold, they might not be able to use a dropper as the bottle would be too small.

I’m bummed. This is textbook “Shrinkflation”. I’ve been buying my Vitamin D3form this company for 6 years now. I feel like I’m no longer getting my money’s worth. The new bottle is smaller (10ml) the old bottle was bigger (22ml). The new bottle is $6 more expensive than the old bottle. When I got this new bottle in the mail it wasn’t even filled up all the way. It was about 70% full. I’m disappointed and I’ll start looking to another company to get my vitamin D3 from.

Before you throw it away try unscrewing the dropper and putting it at angle inside the bottle, then tilt the bottle downwards from a vertical position to try and catch the liquid as you inflate the dropper, making sure the tip is touching the side of the bottle. Make sure the tip is touching the side of the bottle, it won’t reach until it’s about a bit lower than the halfway point of the bottle due to the length of the glass. I thought my bottle was empty and it turns out the dropper doesn’t reach all the way to the bottom. As for the actual product, i’ve had a few other brands of pills/patches and I feel the difference when I take these drops. Personally I think this is the best vitamin d substance on the market.
