I’ve been taking moringa for awhile now and I can definitely say that it lives up to its name as the “miracle tree.” I’ve had the chance to eat raw moringa in the countries where it grows naturally so I know the taste and color, as well as the natural head buzz you’re supposed to get after eating FRESH moringa. That being said I’ve been on the hunt for the best moringa powder here in the states. I’ve tried about a half dozen different brands on Amazon and it is pretty astonishing how different they all are. Some taste horrible, but make me feel good. Some are bright green, but don’t have an effect on me at all. Sadly some are even brown, taste bad, and make me think it’s not even moringa. I’m happy to say that I’ve finally found the closest thing to pure raw moringa that I saw on my travels. Pura Vida says that they source from a farm at the base of a volcano and that their leaves are handpicked… I have to believe them because the taste is amazingly close to fresh, raw moringa (please keep in mind, raw moringa is not the tastiest thing in the world, imagine a wheat grass and broccoli mix). I also feel great within minutes after taking it. I was buying their pill form for awhile, not aware that they had a powder form. Now that I found their moringa powder, I will be keeping both on hand at all times now: pills for when I’m on the go and the powder for my morning superfood shakes. There are tons of moringa products on the market and it can be overwhelming deciding which one to choose, but I know that cheap moringa is likely to be full of ground up stems and branches and moringa from India or Africa is likely not organic even when they say it is. I’ve found that a good rule of thumb is always “you get what you pay for.” I cannot recommend Pura Vida moringa powder enough!

Starting second week slight difference. Hope for more improvement. Dark green and smells like fresh cut leaves. Very loose, fine powder. Mixed with oatmeal well, made it green but palletable.

The taste is nothing to rave about. You might consider taking the 1 teaspoonful of Moringa with something else such as yogurt or oatmeal, anything that will mask the taste. I have only been taking it for a month. I was told by a friend that it takes approximately 2 months to feel the positive affects IE: more energy. It is helpful to read about moringa, the tree and all the nutrients and benefits it has. I will continue to take it for the long term. Hope this helps!

I’m very impressed with Pura Vida moringa powder. This company makes sure that it sources the best, highest quality moringa available & then great care is taken in the processing assuring the highest quality, freshest product. I’ve used moringa powder for a number of years, but never seemed to notice any benefits. After reading about Pura Vida powder, I switched. It looks so much better with it’s emerald green color as opposed to the darker somewhat oxidized moringa I had been using & it smells so much fresher. I’ve been using it for over a month now & I feel that it gives me more energy & has helped ease pain. I love that moringa has a full compliment of over 90 nutrients that your body really needs plus the green chlorophyll

I thought it was 2/ 500 grams each, it was only 226 grams. Kinda pricey, the add on Amazon store was 2/500 grams each . There you go! Blind sided I guess.
