    Hi so before I start off, I have a lot of specific.. needs I guess? Like I have a good bit of sensory issues so I’m very particular about a lot of things and I’ve always wished someone would leave an incredibly detailed review on how things feel. So hopefully someone who experiences things like I do appreciates my review! So I really liked the Cerave daily moisturizer for a while but I wanted something better to restock with. I was looking for something with the same consistency, not dripping out of the bottle but definitely not super thick either. I like lotions on the thinner side so they rub into my skin easily without me irritating my skin by having to rub it in to the point where my skin on the back of my hand is being tugged. I wash my hands A LOT and have to put on lotion a lot so this is very important. I also don’t like lotions that sit thick on the skin after being rubbed in and “drying”. As in oily and doesn’t really soak into the skin. I definitely don’t like that feelings on my palms. This lotion is really close to the Cerave daily moisturizer consistency so that was a really nice surprise. After drying and soaking into my skin (even my palms) it felt AMAZING. It left my skin so buttery smooth without leaving any kind of film over my hands. I was actually halfway expecting to return this lotion dude to the mixed review about the smell. Some say it smells herbally, others say it has a slight chemical smell to it. When I first smelled it out of the bottle and immediately on my skin, I would agree it had a slight chemical smell to it that was hard to describe. I tried it on my hands and arm a few times over the next hour, trying to get a feel of the scent and see if I liked it or not. After fully lathering my hands in it (not like a lot but a normal amount that I would use) and just walking around doing other things then going back to smell it, it actually smelled very nice. I really liked it. After it sat on my skin the smell became a little sweeter and I didn’t smell any bad chemical sent. On my dad it smelled slightly more herbal and didn’t get the sweet sent it did on me. I guess it’s the same as perfume? When you let it sit and mingle with your skin the scent will change slightly. It definitely has a slight herbal scent to it that I can’t fully describe for someone, but it’s not overpowering. I can only smell it if I bring my hand and inch from my face. Which is great because I don’t like strong scents. Also, I will say that once rubbed in, it feels very slightly sticky which I struggle with, but after only a minute it dries completely and that stickiness goes away and I’m left with that really soft feel to my skin without any weird film left over. I really like this lotion so having to keep my hands still so I don’t notice the stickiness for that whole minute is worth it! Overall: once it sits on my skin for a few minutes I think it smells great, and the feel of it is so silky smooth!!

    I loved this lotion! It has a mild scent and absorbs easily. I was specifically looking for something that I could use in my guest bathroom and wanted something that would appeal to everyone. This fit the bill.

    My family all started using it so I ended up purchasing more bottles and the refills. Love this option.

    Love this lotion. Rubs in nicely, isn’t too watery, greasy, or too thick. Slight downside from me is that it smells like bananas but that goes away on the skin.

    I have ordered 11 different bottles of shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion. My husband likes the product as we used it when we stayed at a VRBO. When I received my order in two different shipments, there was no bubble wrap packaging to protect the lotion and conditioner nozzles from breakage. I have had 2 nozzles broken off that had to be returned. In addition, it is impossible to unscrew those bottles with nozzles to get them to pop up for use. I have only had success in taking the cap off the bottle and totaling cleaning it under the faucet and then unscrewing the nozzle to use. I didn’t think it should be this difficult to use. Also, the bottles are a dull matte finish which look like they have sat in the warehouse or rolled around for quite awhile. The bottles at the VRBO were bright white with no dirt markings.

    I got the bottle two months ago and I’ve been using it. I used to use Curel, and when I first tried the new lotion, honestly didn’t love it because It had a pretty heavy Herbie sent and I felt like it didn’t give as much coverages as the Curel did. But after two months of using the new lotion and going back and trying the curel again, the curel is not good. It’s so heavy and greasy, and sometimes you even have to put two coats on for your skin to stop itching. This new lotion I have is moisturizing, it’s not heavy but it still moisturizes with one coat. It does have a herby smell but you get used to it. It absorbs great and didn’t leave a sticky greasy coating on the skin. I love the bottle, I use it all over my body 4 times a week, it last for 2 months, and longer. I got a refill bag this time. Definitely worth the money, and the bottle has no malfunctions. It also is small enough to fit inside my skin care container.

    When the bottle arrived, it was sealed in cellophane — though the pump part was exposed. I tried tightening it and turning it right and left, but it wouldn’t pop up. For the price ($20 for 12 oz) I didn’t want to pitch it so I emailed the company. I got a quick response telling me to do what I just did, and to “watch the attached video.” Watch a video to see how to open a bottle of lotion – nope! Maybe the pump was damaged in transit, but I’m not impressed. Asking for a refund.

    For this price and so much marketing copy about their packaging, it shouldn’t take 2 YouTube videos and a Reddit thread to figure out how to unlock the pump. Low quality packaging for sure. If the pump is locked and it just keeps spinning instead of unlocking, here’s how to open it:
    1) remove the pump from the bottle
    2) wedge a towel under the base of the collar/cap and hold it in place
    3) use your other hand to push down hard while twisting in the “open” direction.

    The lotion itself smells good and has a nice feel. It isn’t greasy or sticky.
