Unfortunately, I only benefit I saw with Provence Beauty’s Bare Lumiere Protecting and Perfecting 5-in-1 Moisturizer was moisturized skin. It left my face looking way too shiny and felt like it didn’t ever fully sink into my skin. I also didn’t see the dramatic skin changes that are shown in the pictures of its listing, although those seem somewhat unrealistic.
It doesn’t have any blurring effects for imperfections and doesn’t act like a primer, just a moisturizer. I disliked the heavy shine and was disappointed I didn’t see more benefits from this product, especially given its price at the time of this writing. If you are looking just for a basic moisturizer, you may like it more than I did.

This feel cream feels luxurious. Doesn’t take much and it applies so smoothly. Provides great coverage. My face definitely feels moisturized and soft. No skin reactions or irritation and it works well with different cleansers and serums.
It works really well when I get out of the pool and my face is so parched and feels tight. This gets my skin back to a good place quickly.
I love that this is free of fragrance and other harmful additives. I’m sensitive to fragrance and this product works well for me. I have to hold this right under my nose and concentrate to pick up the lightest smell and I don’t notice it when applied.
The key is a nice touch. Attach to the end and roll it up to get the most product out of the tube.

This five in one cream is very hydrating and great for my winter dry skin. Although it was marketed as lightweight, it felt a bit too heavy for my facial skin when compared with K beauty brands, but it worked great for my chapped hands as it was almost Vaseline like and provided a thin barrier over my skin.

This Provence Beauty BARE LUMIÈRE Protecting Perfecting Cream is fragrance free and isn’t scented with fragrant essential oils, which can irritate my skin just as much or more as traditional fragrance. This doesn’t smell like anything to me. I have sensitive, dry skin, and this cream feels soothing. It’s versatile in that I’ve applied it alone to calm and hydrate my skin after having a reaction to another product, and i can also use it as a day or night cream after using a hydrating, peptide or other serum.
This cream has a thick texture and spreads on smoothly. It leaves my skin soft and smooth and works well under my makeup. My dry skin absorbs this cream, but I would say it’s protective in that it’s just slightly or semi occlusive (probably from glycerin). But it’s still breathable and doesn’t sit greasy or heavy on my skin. I feel my dry skin gets good hydration, though at times I prefer more so I just add a couple drops of unscented facial oil. The included key for rolling the tube is a nice touch. Love it. 5 stars. Made in USA.

I don’t know how to explain this cream. It feels heavy but applies lightweight. I know that sounds insane. I try to avoid heavy creams since I have to deal with milia so I was skeptical trying this out.
When I applied it, I was taken aback. A little goes a long way with this cream. I do like that it comes with a roller to ensure that ALL product is used.
The smell is light and it’s not sticky at all. This sensitive skin girly approves of this so far! If I start reacting, I will update the review, but so far … AMAZING

The Providence Beauty Bare Lumiere moisturizer is a nice product, a thick cream with a light feel to it. It was easy to apply and was completely absorbed in minutes. It left me face with a nice hydrated feeling without any greasy feeling to it. It has a very light scent to it that I cannot smell once it is on my face. My skin has had no reaction to cream at all.
The packaging is nicely done and I can read everything on both the box and tube. This product was made and distributed from the USA. This is a nice moisturizer which I will continue to use and would recommend trying.
It came in a completely filled tube however neither my box nor my tube had any safety seal on it (I prefer to have my products have some seal somewhere on them). It does come with an applicator (I did not use it)

I have been searching for a replacement for a now discontinued indie-brand moisturizer that was mostly shea butter and aloe, and this moisturizer seemed like it might fit the bill. Unfortunately it is heavy on the glycerin, which makes it very moisturizing but a little too heavy for my skin. It goes on smoothly, and does seem to sooth any irritation.
The metal tube and other packaging is lovely and feels expensive, I just wish it had had a seal on the package to ensure it was not tampered with. It does come with a metal device to help you get all the product out of the tube, which is a nice touch!
I will keep this and use it as needed, I can see it being really great for travel, when my skin usually gets dried out on planes or other stressed situations. It has helped sooth a sore nose from having a cold as well- I’ve been using it to ‘slug’ on top of lighter products and it keeps those sealed in nicely. I bet it would be good for folks in very cold/windy winter climates, since the glycerin really adds a layer of protection to the skin.
