I have sensitive skin so I look out for which lotions to use. This lotion was labeled for sensitive skin so I thought I’d give it a try. The lotion isn’t greasy and is very moisturizing when applied onto my skin. This item includes 2 big sized lotions that I find a pretty good value. I also like this because of its lightweight texture.

This is a good lightweight baby lotion. It doesn’t sit thickly on the skin but it’s not runny and liquidy. It has a natural and herb type of scent and also smells like some oils.

We bough this for our son and once it came I was able to see the ingredients. Absolutely horrible ingredients, claims to be non toxic but our skin is the biggest organ we have, why are we putting so many chemicals on it. I’ll stick with pure shea butter and pure coco butter.

Full disclosure – I’m reviewing this as a fair-skinned caucasian mom with a fair-skinned caucasian baby. I missed the “for melanated babies” when purchasing but hey my kid has some melanin just not a lot haha!
Upon first use I was very impressed with the viscosity of this lotion. It’s thick but not too thick and it spreads really well. It’s a little bit sticky during the first few seconds of application but no more so than most lotions for dry skin. I also like that it was only subtly fragranced – there is a slight chamomile smell and an even slighter lavender smell.

This baby lotion is formulated for babies of color but has ingredients that are moisturizing and calming for any skin: jojoba oil, shea butter, aloe vera, and oats. I did not see the full list of ingredients on the product page, so I’ll list them below. The lotion absorbs and moisturizes without feeling greasy. Most welcome to me is the scent – no “baby powder” here – this is mildly lavender with a hint of spice. The 9” tall super-sized tubes were a little surprising even though I knew they were 9 oz. each (it’s always hard for me to judge the size of items based on the product photos); they’re not exactly portable, but I can squeeze some into a travel tube for on-the-go use. This lotion is great for both babies and their parents.

We really wanted to love this but it did not work out. I didn’t realize I got a scented one so not sure if that’s what cause the breakout. We applied it every where and only the arm got affected. My baby has dry skin and with the one time we applied, it did not help hydrate his skin. Very strong scent.
