I have an autoimmune condiythat makes my skin SUPER sensitive to sunscreen but also makes it vital that I wear it daily. So I’m always a challenge & when my dermatologist recommended this, I was optimistic.
It’s awesome & I’ve been using it for over 10 years in South FL. You can spray it on your skin directly and rub it in or spray into your hands and rub it on, which I do for my face. It is so nice and lightweight, PLUS they have great options for subtle scents or unscented. I love this one as it’s light & fresh smelling.
Of course, the most important stuff is how it protects you, how it wears and how my skin reacts. All 10/10. On regular daily use, I never have to reapply & I’m fine. If I’m going to be out in the sun intentionally, I always reapply after swimming or later in the day for a quick refresh. I’ve never had a problem with sunburn or skin irritation when I use it.
It can make your skin feel a little greasy for a bit while it absorbs, but I have dry skin so it actually feels very hydrating on me. However, if you have oily skin, that may be something to consider.

This sunscreen spray is clear. Good price compare to other brands. It is more oily than I like. I hold the spray bottle an arm length away, close my eyes before spraying. I am careful not to spray on other objects nearby as it will be coated with an oily film. The bottle is small and can easily fit in my purse or a coat pocket. I pat it on my face with clean hands after spraying. It is neither good or bad. It depends on how and where you’ll use it. If I am spraying it at a beach or in the garden, I don’t mind the oily texture. I will continue using it and decide if I will reorder more.

This is by a long way the best sunscreen I and my family have ever used. I’ve always been allergic to sunscreens, with very few I can wear without a reaction, either from scent or something in the lotion. This goes on clear/invisible and goes on quickly, doesn’t cause any reaction, and has no scent. There is a slight sunscreen scent if you really sniff closely, but it’s pretty much undetectable otherwise. I can wear it on my face without breaking out. It’s like the holy grail of sunscreens. I originally bought it for my partner, who wears it for working all day outside and wanted an easy to apply sunscreen that wasn’t lotion-based. Now my whole family uses it, and we all swear by it.
The ONLY downside, and it’s not a small one, is that it’s so expensive. That being said, the ingredients appear to be high quality, and it does seem to stretch farther than lotion-based sunscreens of a similar size—my partner works 10-12 hours outside almost every day, and applies it every 2 hours or so, and goes through about a bottle to a bottle and a half a month, depending on how often arms are exposed or covered for the day. YMMV, of course!

Sun block was a pain before we discovered this brand! This is the only brand my children will use without a fight or complaining.
Pros- it doesn’t come out of the bottle cold. It is not sticky or greasy. It works! You just have to reapply! It smells like a cupcake.
Cons- the price and it can be hard to find. I wish it came with a but if a higher SPF, in this scent.

I first heard about this brand because it was listed in Allergic Living’s 2020 Top Allergy-Friendly Sunscreens List. Since my son has severe allergies it has been very hard to find a sunscreen that is free of top allergens INCLUDING coconut. We had been using Badger Baby on all of us for the last 7 years (because if he hugs or rubs up against us while we are wearing sunscreen with coconut he breaks out) and while it works and has great ingredients, it’s also a thick white paste. So when I saw this and saw that it was free from top 8 allergens, including soy, no sesame, gluten-free, AND coconut free AND cruelty free/vegan AND it was a spray!?!? Well it sounded too good to be true.
It’s not. It works. It’s so much easier to put on than the Badger Baby sunscreen. We can put it on my allergic kid and no rash, we can put it on my 3 year old and no screaming or wrestling. They can run around outside in the heat and play in the water and so far no complaints about anything running into their eyes and no burns. We are generally sun-cautious and wear a lot of sun protective clothing and hats, but this works great for the areas not easily covered like neck, feet, hands etc.
I will say it is a very small bottle (we got the smaller of the two sizes) but the non-aerosol sprayer is very efficient. I can cover the full length of both my arms in 3-4 sprays. I also bought the 30spf for kids in the orange bottle, and the ingredients are slightly different. The orange bottle doesn’t contain homosalate and the percentages of the other ingredients are slightly different. In terms of application and efficacy though, I don’t see too much of a difference between the two other than the spf. I do like the tiny bottles because they fit more easily into our diaper bag without taking up a ton of space and I can fit one into my smaller purse so that we’re prepared for any unexpected outdoor fun. I would love a “refill” option so that we can reduce waste in the future, but for now these should last us the summer.

I have used this product before and really liked it as an effective and easy to apply sunscreen. Unfortunately, this product was not packaged well for shipping – it comes in a soft-sided plastic bottle, and was shipped in a bubble mailer. While it was sealed in a leakproof bag, that bag was full of about half the contents of the bottle… and Amazon expected me to ship it back in that condition for a refund, not a replacement. Not going through that again for this stuff.
