d’alba Piedmont Waterfull Tone-Up Sunscreen Serum comes in a nice box that has braille written on the side. I don’t think I have ever seen that before, so I am impressed.
The tube is flat and has an oval shaped gold cap. This definitely looks like a high end product.
The sunscreen is a broad spectrum 50+ spf, so it is perfect for my needs. It smells like oranges. Very pleasant scent. It is rather a pinky beige. It blends in nicely and is very smooth. It leaves the skin soft with a slight sheen, but no white overcast.

This leaves my skin soft and glowy. Wears great under makeup and doesn’t leave a white tint.

In short: trusted brand, frequently purchased, use various sunscreens and other products by D’Alba. Hybrid mineral & chemical sunscreen. Light pink appearance. Mild pink cast does wonders for my flushed skin. Slightly dry feeling, btu overall love the finished look: glowing, perked up, fresh. Gives my skin a boost in appearance. I think the product pictures for how it looks on various skin is probably accurate. 5 stars

Skin care products are personal, so of course my experience with this is mine alone. Sunscreen is my #1 skin care item that I use nearly every day no matter the weather (habit). I like a multi-functional product (does more than just block sun), this doesn’t have quite that going on like some of their other products do, but I still like it a lot. I basically like the finished look. I look freshened up, perked up, dare I say a wee bit more youthful.
I dont wear facial make up (just occasional mascara and gloss) but I do have redness from Rosacea– just rosy cheeks, kinda look flushed all the time, or sometimes look like I spent time in sun. I like products that can help simmer down the redness yet I dont want to be masked. I want my natural skin to also show through. This provides that.
I have a fair cool complexion, and so white cast doesn’t impact me as much as those with darker or warmer tones. I think this has a mild white cast, but it is more like a pink cast. Yet it works for me. I like how it seems to freshen up my skin, gives it a pleasing (to me) glow, and it doesnt mask my natural skin but gives it a boost.
IF it didnt provide that lovely boost, then I would go with 4 stars. It is a little more “dry” than I prefer for a hybrid (mineral and chemical) sunscreen. I have dry skin. I need added moisture. SO I must make sure to prep my skin before using this. I have used it as sole skin care item, but I prefer how it goes on and feels as a finishing product. SINCE I grab for this based on how it overall makes my skin look (seriously gives me a little pep in my step), I am going with 5 stars. I like it a lot for ME, and for specific reasons. I also happen to buy this brand regularly, including other sunscreens, so it is a good, trusted brand.

This sunscreen comes in a sealed box and has a foil seal. I like the high protection it offer. I’m not sure about the pink correcting – I think I could do without it. I think it may give some people a cast. I really like the natural scent; it almost reminds me of lemon vanilla cookies. Like so many face sunscreens, it is rather pricey ($36).

Korean skincare is all the rage lately, and this product is no exception. The d’alba tone-up sunscreen serum is a powerhouse combination of a broad spectrum SPF 50, color correction and a little moisturizer in one. It comes out of the tube as a slightly pinky-peach color, spreads easily with no white cast at all, and left my skin glowing without being glittery or sparkly in the sun. It has a light, neutral scent that dissipates after application. I think I could easily substitute this for my usual tinted moisturizer because it looks so nice on. Think glass skin for any skin type! It’s also cruelty-free/vegan, which is an added bonus.

The d’alba Piedmont Waterfull Tone-Up Sunscreen Serum has a nice citrus scent to it. It is fairly thin. It has a slight white cast until rubbed in well. It goes away quickly. Leaves skin looking nice. Seems to even out skin tone a bit. I have had no adverse reaction to this. I like this sunscreen as it does not leave me greasy or tacky. It seems to absorb quickly into skin. It is packaged well and has a safety seal under cap. Arrived quickly.

This sunscreen goes on smoothly and is slightly thicker than a regular lotion. It has a lemony scent which is awesome. The amazing thing is I don’t even need to put foundation on with it. This evens my skin tone and makes my face look fresh. I am so impressed with how wonderfully this works and the results when wearing it. I am forever switching to this and ditching my foundation and concealer.

Made in Korea. Generous expiration date. Foil seal under cap. Dispenses as a medium weight cream with a light fresh scent. Applies easily and absorbs well without leaving my skin feeling tacky or greasy. It does have a white/purple cast for a couple minutes after application but that fades to where I can wear this alone or under a foundation/cc cream. It says it is “pink correcting” but I can’t really comment on that as I don’t have a lot of pink to be corrected.
I like the higher spf and the cost is reasonable. Doesn’t cause my eyes to sting which would be a deal breaker. I’m pleased and can see getting this again.
