I wear sunscreen on my face daily and have been through so many trying to find what works. I really like this one because it has a more liquid formula and is easier to spread, but does not leave my face feeling greasy. Also, it doesn’t wave me smelling like I’ve been at the beach. But a little bit goes a long way!! It comes out fast, so be careful, and it is easier to get WAY more than you need. Start small and add to it if you need. I really like this for daily wear, though. It has great coverage yet still feels light and airy.

The Mo’Bay packaging may look as though it was produced in someone’s basement, but the product is the real deal. Zinc-oxide based, the lotion has the ideal consistency for sunscreen, not too watery but not too heavy to spread smoothly. It’s got that familiar, faint zinc oxide scent — there is no added perfume.
It’s effective and as someone who uses sunscreen every day, year round, I like it. But they should fire whoever designed the packaging — bright orange with tiny white print.

Finding a mineral sunscreen that doesn’t make me look like Casper the friendly ghost is challenging! Some sunscreens are fantastic except for the fact that the zinc in the formula makes the skin look white and pale, even with foundation on top. This Mo’Bay Mineral Sunscreen from Cay Skin doesn’t leave behind a white cast, thankfully! The formula is silky and has a subtle sheen, but isn’t glittery. It’s not tinted but does have skin-improving features. Like I can wear this on the weekend without foundation and just add some concealer to cover my spots.
It is unscented and is made with clean ingredients. These sunscreen drops combine sun protection and skin care in one easy-to-use formula. This is my 1st time trying Cay Skin, but it definitely won’t be my last!

I like this sunscreen lotion. It is actually very moisturizing which is saying a lot for a sunscreen. I started looking up the ingredients with the EWG and all was going well. I didn’t find polyester-5 and still don’t know what that is, but I did see that phenoxyethanol has a moderate risk for being a potential allergen, an irritant, a potential endocrine disruptor and a pollutant. In fact it is banned in France because the manufacturing process is highly polluting as it consumes a lot of energy. It is used to prevent the growth of microorganisms. I am seeing a lot of good ingredients in the sunscreen, but for the high price of $36 for 1.7 ounces, I would hope to not see phenoxyethanol on the list. The maximum amount of this ingredient in the EU, UK and Australia is 1% however it is not regulated in the US or Canada. That being said, I have no idea what percentage of this product that ingredient is. It is vegan and reef friendly according to the product description and it works well as a sunscreen and a moisturizer.

Mineral sunscreens can sometime be harder to apply, but this one is super easy. It does indeed not have any white cast and I had no issues with skin irritation. It feels pretty light and has a subtle shine to it. The bottle is small but spreads easy so you should get quite a few uses out of it.

Cay Skin mineral sunscreen SPF 30. Shake, screw off top, and dispense a dime size amount. It squeezes out creamy white, rubs in clear and is not sticky. It has a pleasant light scent and is meant for use on the face. When used as directed and along with other sun protection measures, like sun protective clothing, reapplication, and avoiding the sun between 11 am and 2 pm, this product can decrease the risk of developing skin cancer.
I have never liked sunscreen products but this one doesn’t make me look like a ghost, smells nice, and makes my face feel smooth. I finally have found a sunscreen I will use.

A lightweight liquid sunscreen that absorbs quickly upon application to my skin. The top is a twist top with a small opening for dispensing. Be careful when squeezing out as the product is more fluid than other sunscreens I have used and will come out quickly. Even though there is a light yellow cream colored tint to this sunscreen, it did not leave any color behind or white cast on my skin when I applied it. I used this on my face and found it to be lightweight and non greasy. Quite comfortable for a sunscreen. Very slight fragrance but barely worth mentioning as I didn’t notice it at all once I applied this. It is a little pricy at $36 at the time of this review but at 1.7 fl oz, you can place this in your carry on for a short weekend trip.

Mo’Bay Weightless Mineral Sunscreen Lotion w/SPF 30 works well. It’s not too viscous since it’s SPF 30, and thus it’s easy to apply on the skin. It doesn’t have odd smell either. Overall it works as expected.
