If you have littles that love applying their sunscreen to their faces themselves this is a must. They were even more willing to let me apply it because it went on so easy. This brand does take a little rubbing in still as it goes on nice and thick and very white. But it is our favorite brand for our kids. Get this little tube and make things easier on yourself and your kiddos!

Es un bloqueador excelente. Deja residuos blancos pero a mi me daba tranquilidad ver a mis hijos así porque sabía que estaban protegidos. 1 semana en Cancun y ellos regresaron a casa en perfecto estado. Incluso si no se lava con jabón, es difícil de quitar. Pero los resultados para mí, fueron los esperados

This product is compact size which is convenient for packing in a diaper bag. It did prevent sunburn as well. However, it does not spread well. The stick is not slick enough to glide over the skin and I had to do more of a rub it on my fingers and then apply to my toddler.

Nos encantó! Los compramos para las vacaciones pero clml vivimos en una ciudad soleada, lo usamos cada vez que salimos o nuestra bebé va a nadar. Resiste muy bien el agua, de hecho es un poco difícil de quitar y si deja una capa blanca pero no nos molesta en lo absoluto. ¡Lo recomiendo mucho!
Actualización: conforme pasa el tiempo la barra se endurece un poco y es más difícil aplicarlo y sobre todo difuminarlo en la piel. Eso si, es tan resistente al agua que aún con el baño es difícil quitarlo.

We love this type of sunscreen; not only is it great for protecting my baby’s skin, but it is also easy to apply.

My kids spend a lot of time at the beach in the summer, and this sunscreen works incredibly well, without irritating their skin. I use it just on their faces. There are a few drawbacks, but more if you’re planning to use it all over the body.
Why I like it:
– It’s small, so it’s very easy to carry around. I only use a little (just on the face), so it lasts me a long time.
– It works really well for sun protection and lasts all day, even in the water (it’s actually hard to wash off, see cons below). I never need to reapply it.
– It’s more natural than other sunscreens. My kids have allergies and sensitive skin, and this doesn’t bother them at all.
Cons
– It’s hard to spread around. The best thing to do is just apply it with the stick and leave it that way.
– It’s hard to wash off, but this is also why it works. The best way to get it off is to rub it with a cloth or towel, but a little remnant doesn’t bother my kids so I just leave it.
– It’s very white and visible when you apply it. My kids are young and don’t care. I imagine teenagers or adults might not like that.

I kept one of these in my bag at all times over the summer. I found them light and easy carry with. They were also great for putting sunscreen on kid’s faces.

I am not the world’s biggest fan of mineral sunscreen. It’s hard to apply, doesn’t rub in well, leaves everyone looking white and ghostly, and, let’s be honest, just doesn’t work as well as oxybenzone, as far as actually preventing sunburns goes. But it’s impossible to find a tear-free oxybenzone sunscreen for kids who don’t understand not to rub their eyes with sunscreen-covered hands, especially in stick form, which is what my toddler prefers. So mineral it is, I guess.
Babyganics is far and away the best kid’s (tear-free) mineral sunscreen we’ve found. It actually rubs in decently well (my kid still looks vaguely ghostly, but not pasty white?), it is incredibly long-lasting, and it WORKS! We tried a couple of other brands (I mostly test on myself) and I burnt straight through the Water Babies mineral sunscreen in about 20 minutes; we’ve never gotten a sunburn with this one, even a couple of times when I felt like I really should have reapplied.
My kid doesn’t like rubbing goop in but will tolerate a stick (and I don’t trust sprays to give full coverage – too many childhood memories of sunburns in spray-patterned splotches), and I think this goes on pretty easily if it’s at all warm. Just don’t get sand or grit in it!
