You know for this price, there are going to be compromises. And here they are. First, the scoop is huge and the description is wrong. The label says right on the container there are only 23 servings. I’m not sure what they put in this, but it is THICK. Casein protein is always thicker than regular whey, but my battery powered mixer could mix my last brand. Not this stuff. It just sits there like quicksand while the motor whirs, but the pasty concoction refuses to move. I make it using skim milk.
So, this stuff is kind of a pain. Also, it doesn’t taste good. It’s not awful, but noticeably worse than my last brand. But…it’s also half the price, so I guess these compromises can be expected. However, it leads me to question the quality of the ingredients and if I’m giving up more than just mixability and taste to save a few bucks.

This is a fantastic protein product. The taste is great and it keeps me full for hours, so no cheating on my diet. I have noticed an increased (faster) recovery rate post workout. My wife likes it too and she is real finicky about which protein products she will use. The price per gram of protein is great too. I will be using this from now on.

Love this protein powder. Gives me what I need and has helped me gain muscle and still a using it and still gaining muscle. Tastes great and is a thick powder. People say thick powders are no good. But they are wrong. Good protein powders are thick. Bad ones are not thick they’re thin and gives you a really fast serving of protein which gets out of your system really quickly.

Casien protein seems to be made out gold because it’s priced accordingly! That makes this particular product quite appealing, because it’s much more affordable than other brands I saw on Amazon. Tastes great and seems to work great as well. Took off one star because it’s a bit on the gritty side, even after mixing it super well. Not big issue, but I wish texture was smoother!

I got this specifically for a chocolate “high protein” overnight oatmeal recipe I saw on youtube. I’ve made the recipe several occasions and tastes great each time. Once it has time to set the casein is very smooth and silky. Haven’t tried it outside of this specific scenario because I’m kinda reserving it as a special treat.
