Product was a year old when I got it. Asked customer service (CS) “why” and got a non-answer (like you would get from a politician. ) Also asked where the ingredients came from, and again got a deflective answer – manufactured in America. I do not know of any tea farms anywhere in north or south America. Will not buy from a company that cannot answer simple questions directly. I do not have confidence and trust in them.
I have seen “use by” dates on other EGCG products that showed a 2 year shelf life. That means to me that this product may have lost half its potency. I emphasize “may have” because I am not a chemist and do not really know that to be a fact – but it is a reasonable assumption. So why buy a product that shows 390 mg when it may have only 195 mg potency left? I wonder how many of the effusive 4 & 5 star raters even looked at the manufacturing date located at the bottom of the contents label?

Highest EGCG content I have found in capsule form. I used to take 4 to 5 capsules to get this quantity. Now I only take 2. Outstanding product.

I am a repeat customer for this product. I’ve found it to have the highest content of EGCG, without a significant difference in price to other brands, making these a great value. I found this to be a great supplement in general, and this has been my goto brand. I also like the Life Extension brand, but it has slightly lower egcg content.
