My girl has had issues with low iron. I believe these work. Can’t really confirm until she retakes some blood tests. Only complaint is the occasional capsule that has opened in the container and left a mess in the bottle. Otherwise they are great.

I can’t take plant iron cause it builds up in my blood so heme iron from meat is the only way I can get my iron. This is the best alternative that’s ever come out on the market. The only problem is the high price but, there’s only a few manufacturers of this kind of heme iron out there. I don’t have to take it everyday just when I don’t eat enough meat.

I have iron deficiency most of the time and am always looking for ways to fix it. I’ve recently read that heme iron is better in most cases because you can take it with food and not worry too much about interactions. The Three Arrows brand I see recommended most was out of stock, so I ordered the ProFerrin Clear.
I took one and had horrible stomach pains and intestinal cramps for about 5 hours following. I wasn’t sure if it might have been unrelated, so I tried another one several days later, at bedtime. Mistake! I woke up thinking I had a stomach virus. Unfortunately it seems like this won’t work for me – I’m surprised, since everyone else has good things to say about it being gentle on the stomach! I wish I could return it, since it was not inexpensive and now I can’t make use of it. Oh well.
