– I take probiotics daily, but usually in smaller doses than this. This extra strength probiotic supplement has 50 billion CFU per capsule, whereas I’m used to 5 or 10 billion. It contains a wide array of bacterial species, including many strains of bifidobacterium, lacticaseibacillus, and lactobacillus. The bottle lists 12 strains in total, I’m happy to see such a wide range because diversity in the microbiome is considered one of the most important factors.
– The capsules are medium sized and I found them pretty easy to swallow. I didn’t notice any aftertaste or unpleasant side effects.
– The bottle has a valid NPN number printed on it, which is always important to check for. It is also listed as GMP certified, made in Canada, and 3rd party tested.
– My bottle expires in May 2026, or just under 2 years from now, which is plenty of time to use it up. It says no refrigeration is required which is a nice convenience, but I think I will refrigerate it anyways in order to maximize the effectiveness.

The first thing that caught my attention about this probiotic is its high potency, with 50 billion CFU, and its specific formulation aimed at supporting women’s health, although I can’t pinpoint the exact differences compared to other probiotics. The 30-count bottle provides a month’s supply, and the capsules are easy to swallow. They’re also vegetarian, non-GMO, and free from gluten, soy, and dairy, which gives me peace of mind. The probiotic strains are designed to support digestive health, and I’ve noticed an improvement since I started taking them. If you’re looking for a probiotic supplement, this one is definitely worth trying.

This bottle of probiotics was well sealed when I received it. The pills are a really decent size so there is not discomfort of difficulty taking the supplement. The bottle contains 30 pills and the manufacturer suggests taking one per day, so this bottle is one month supply of probiotics. They are gluten fee, vegan, non-GMO and 3rd party tested. Everyone’s experience is different, and your experience could be different than mine. My experience has been great. I am a daily user of probiotics and believe that probiotic supplements have positive effects for your health. I was very impressed with these supplements as I noticed a decrease in bloating. There were no negative effects from taking these supplements. The price seems a bit high at just over 1 dollar per pill but I find that for a good probiotic supplement it is worth it. I am very pleased with this brand, and I love that they do not have to be refrigerated.

This 30-day supply of probiotics do not need refrigeration which makes them more accessible and easy to remember to take. They come in an easy to swallow capsule, and contain 50 billion CPU.
I like that this is a Canadian company which means that they are regulated by our government, that you only have to take one capsule a day, and that you don’t have to put it in the fridge so you can see it and more easily remember to take it. I also like that there is a diversity of probiotics included which is good for gut health.
The bottle comes in a branded box with information about all the ingredients, how to take it, the expiry date and lot number which is on both the box and the bottle. It is vegetarian, gluten-free, dairy-free and third-party tested, and made in Canada.
The bottle comes double sealed–once with clear plastic around the cap, and once with a seal over the mouth of the bottle of the way supplements are sealed.
There was also cotton inside to keep the capsules from moving around. When I opened the bottle it looked like there were so few capsules sitting at the bottom, but I counted them and they were indeed 30, one for each day of the month. I think they could have used a much smaller bottle but it is the standard size for many supplements.
Probiotics can help us with our gastrointestinal health, and there has also been shown to be a relationship between our gut health and our brain and/or mood. So taking a probiotic is a good idea.
I often forget to take a probiotic when I get the kind that you have to keep in the fridge, and I don’t see it out to remind me. So I love that this Vitasave probiotic does not need refrigeration and you can just keep it in a cool dry place. This helps me to see it and remember to take it.
I love that they have so many different kinds of probiotics included in this probiotic capsule, that you don’t have to refrigerate it, that you only have to take one a day, and that it is a Canadian product.

These are supplements and I’m taking them exactly as that. They may or may not work for you (in fact, there hasn’t been a single comprehensive study that proves these supplements work but I digress); however, I take them as an ‘insurance’ knowing they are supplements and not miracle food (and there are no miracle foods). Now with that out of the way;
While these appear to be decent at first glance and from a company located Burnaby/BC, I’m not able to ascertain whether they are actually entirely made in the BC (and not just ‘assembled in Canada’ or the alike) because the vast majority of these smaller brands are actually manufactured elsewhere such as India or other countries (for obvious reasons of cutting the cost and/or low labor cost) where they directly wholesale to companies to have their own brand names (and everything else streamlined) attached to the products. Basically, it’s a practice of manufacturer-for-hire that’s common nowadays.
They come in a sealed bottle with the usual capsule type for probiotics/prebiotics that don’t have any particularly strong smell to me. These aren’t required to be stored in refrigeration but should be kept at a cool place as all/most supplements.
For MOST (or perhaps all) of these pre/probiotic supplements, a minimum of 3 months (or more likely 6 months) are often required in order to see noticeable results and not just placebo effects that you THOUGHT something is happening. While placebo effects are real and measureable, these within a few days or weeks aren’t because bacteria like any other living orgasms need time to grow and replicate, and do whatever they are supposed to do.

All things considered, these appear to be decent like most (but certainly not all) other probiotics out there and they are somewhat reasonably priced at $36 for 30 capsules (1 caps per day, 30 day supply) of ’50 billion CFU with 16 strains’ (didn’t actually count ’em). Your mileage might vary.
