We were recommended this stuff for my dad, and got a trial size of the Berry. It’s consistency is that of straight honey and is sticky too. Do not refrigerate this stuff, it’ll get really thick. But this stuff tastes fine honestly, especially mixed with a bottle of water, some applesauce Or yogurt.
1oz to 1-1/2oz in bottle of water, gives water a nice hint of apple juice flavor and mixes well. 1/2 oz into peach yogurt, you can barely notice any change in flavor and it doesn’t get too runny. I wouldn’t recommend more than 1/2oz though into yogurt, or it will become too runny.
But I don’t see how some reviews are saying this stuff tastes bad, unless they’re using it straight? Even still it doesn’t taste bad to me, it’s thick, but not bad.
Mix it into water/Juice/yogurt/applesauce/etc.
The price is a bit extreme though, but medical collagen protein is never cheap. If it helps my Dad heal, than it’ll be worth the $2 oz.
Edit: reordered the same product the PROSTAT AWC from EJsupply shipped by Amazon. I was sent the standard ProStat and not the AWC, contacted Amazon, they set up a return/replacement, guaranteed me I’d be sent the correct product, 2 days later, I open the package, it’s the same exact product again….the ProStat and NOT the ProStat AWC. So by this time my original 1st purchased bottle for my Dad was at the end and now I don’t have the right ProStat for him. Amazon did step up and do the right thing, but now I still need to order the correct product for my dad and substitute with the standard ProStat until then.
So the product itself is good…..when you actually get the correct product. I don’t know what was going on in the shipping warehouse, maybe they have the wrong product in the wrong location, maybe EJsupply shipped Amazon the wrong product, maybe whoever is packing the boxes isn’t paying close enough attention, I don’t know?
I just know my first order was fine, my 2nd and 3rd not so much.
Make sure you’re getting the correct product, as the standard ProStat is nearly HALF THE COST of the ProStat AWC. CHECK YOUR PRODUCT.

I have had issues with bedsores. This advanced wound care protein is a concentrated protein mixed with about 4 ounces of juice. It heals wounds from the inside out. Seems strange but it works.It is medical grade protein. Have been using this for a few months and it has helped me very much.

ProStat is an outstanding protein supplement, which is readily acceptable by most people. It has a significant amount of protein in just one ounce.

It tastes strongly of citrus and has the consistency of cold honey but this is a wonder drug for healing. It is especially good for people who are lactose intolerant or who need a low sugar diet. Pro-stat has a wide variety of special need nutrition products. I was very lucky to be told of AWC by the hospital nutritionist when I was having trouble healing after surgery. It worked wonders and proved to be a great help. I recommended this to my 93 year old mother who was trying to heal from an infection and it was a great help for her also, especially when coupled with a very high protein diet. It is not cheap but is worth the investment. I prefer the citrus flavor over the cherry or grape which I also tried but that is a personal preference. All flavors are very intense. Do be sure to buy a tube of the one ounce dose cups so you can get the right dose and can lick out the remaining product since it doesn’t flow easily.

I ordered this product for my mother who has stomach cancer. She doesn’t eat well and recently fell. We mixed this with 8 oz water and she really seems to enjoy it. Too soon to tell how it works, but it seems to be giving her some more energy. The AWC or advanced wound care is a little more expensive than the regular Pro-Stat, but you can look up the difference on their webpage. It seems worth it. The shipping was a lot faster than the site tells you initially. We got it in two days. The reviews help. I didn’t get the Vanilla because the reviews said it tasted awful.

I like that it gets me the protein I need, but it is like orange flavored honey! 100 calories and sickly sweet. I’ve started taking 1/2 in morning and 1/2 at night with orange juice. It’s tolerable that way. Wish I had gotten powder.

I ordered a bottle of Pro-Stat with 17 g of protein, but received a bottle with only 15 g of protein. The company I ordered from has a no return policy on this product. I did try to contact them, but was unable to submit my message. It truly is a great product, but can’t say the same for the seller.
