I loved the tingly feeling of it, but it definitely didn’t control my oil. If anything, it may have intensified it. I wanted so bad to love it. But, under my make up it did control the oil pretty well. I just can’t wear it by itself.

I used this product since roughly May 2018 to pair with my Finacea treatment. At the time it worked very well, as there was minimal dry skin, acne, or flaking, and the ingredients were truly non-comedogenic. 99% of moisturizers cause mild acne for me due to ingredients like coconut oil or cetearyl alcohol, but this one was very clean.
I noticed when I was re-ordering that the design on the bottle had changed and salicylic acid was called out as the main ingredient. I’m not sure if the formula changed, but basically it didn’t jive with my skin anymore. I got flaking on my skin soon after applying that got worse over the weeks, almost like a film that dried up or pilled all over skin. I’m currently moving back to Manuka Honey masks as a moisturizer for now.

I have tried so many products that claimed to moisturize, mattify and minimize pores (age 66, oily/combo skin). None came even close to what Lauda Oily Skin Control Moisturizer does, (one was fair but it was discontinued several years ago). I use a tiny amount on my face overall (nothing before) and it immediately feels unbelievably soft and smooth; the pores are minimized and my skin feels like skin, not oily sand paper. The first time I used it I went grocery shopping and to the library, 87 degrees and ridiculous humidity and it was still working eleven hours later, still smooth and no shine! I applied my usual mineral powder over it with a brush and it seemed to look better than usual. Ingredients include several botanicals, which I like. Please don’t change this formula! Delivered as promised; money back guarantee. Good seller. Will be ordering again.

I never do reviews, but I decided to on this one to go along with the rest of the great reviews. I used this product ONCE so far in place of my usually primer under my makeup . My T zone is usually super oily and I have to use a napkin to dab around my nose and cheek bones to get rid of the oil ( literally would look like I just whipped my greasy fingers off on a napkin after eating some greasy pizza or something ) . I put this product on around 6 am this morning , it’s now 2 pm and little to no oil . I did have to use a napkin to get rid of some little oil on my nose while I was at work but I don’t think I put enough on my nose , and even then it was still a small amount compared to normal. No super strong smells or anything and I have a super sensitive face but I have no indication that this will make me break out and since I only used it once so far I can’t really review that aspect. I didn’t pay TOO much attention to the moisturizing aspect of the product either as I usually use different products for moisture on my face but I used this alone and it seems fine . Wasn’t drying at all .

I have very oily skin that causes major breakouts and I’m 38 years old. I have never worn a moisturizer before because I could never imagine the need for it when my face is so oily. Many cleansers for oily skin tend to over dry my face, which then makes it produce more oil than needed.
After learning WHY I should use a moisturizer on oily-skin, I found Oil Control from Concept Skin and tried it out. I was amazed by how well it absorbed into my skin and soothed it right after washing it. It does not feel greasy AT ALL. With this moisturizer, my skin is soothed and the oil is balanced and seems to cut way down compared to without it. Applying it before bed is awesome because I can wake up without an oil slick on my nose.
It also has blemish control in it and I love that I just apply ONE product to my face for oil-control and acne. I am lazy when it comes to stuff like this and tend to give up on them. I am actually writing this review while ordering my 2nd bottle! I hate going a day without it on my face and can feel a huge difference in the oil on my skin.
For reference, I use 2 pumps on cream on my skin after washing it.

It definitely dries matte and is not greasy, controls oil too much and is drying. It isn’t really a moisturizer, more of an acne preventer in the way of an oil controller. If you have combo skin, only use in the really oily areas, not all over.

I’m always on a hunt for products that work as well as described. I have acne prone skin and cystic acne. I mean my face is a hot mess. And there is a layer of oil on the top that makes me look like I’m constantly sweaty. Its gross. But this product has really helped with some of these issues. It’s not a miracle product and it doesnt cure anything. But I’ve been using it for a month now and it doesnt make me breakout, it doesnt let my face get stupid oily and it feels good on the skin. It is moisturizing but what is super cool is that its lightweight. I know for everyone things work differently and I’m so happy that this works for me.
Upon receiving the product, there was a little card that thanked me for buying from a small business which I wasnt aware that this was. I feel like small businesses always put a bit more effort in their products. These guys nailed the product. I recommend this to everyone with similar problems to mine! It isn’t going to work for everyone because we are all different, but I have very( i can’t emphasize enough) sensitive skin and this worked for me. So I’m going to advocate for this product.

I’ve never tried a combo primer-hydrator product before, so maybe I shouldn’t be so impressed. But, WOW! It’s not easy for me to get through the day without a shiny T-zone. I am still super oily at 55, so for me, it’s nice to save at least one step (and at such a great price point) before putting on my make-up. I kept a star because I wish it was a bit silkier, but I over all really like it! I will for sure order this again.
