When looking at various products, I read a lot of people whining about the taste of this one. This is not something that bothers me, especially when it comes to supplements. However, when I tried my first scoop in water this morning, I was surprised that it tastes *exactly* like the lemon I squeeze in a glass of water every morning after I wake up. This is a problem? I absolutely love that it tastes like fresh lemon and not some weird chemical taste of an artificial sweeter or stevia or some other additive. I look forward to using this product more. After the first use today I had an awesome workout with lots of energy and great pumps!

I felt good from the first day. The COVID left me with pains in my chest when exercising, but with this supplement I can do intense exercises for a long time and my chest does not hurt or get tired. It gives me a lot of resistance. I take it an hour before doing my exercises. It has a lemon flavor and comes with a spoon. At the moment, I take it once a day, although the package says three times a day. I think it is a good product, and I will gladly buy it again since it has given me the expected results.

By far the best brand of CM I’ve tried. I highly recommend this brand of CM. For the record, CM doesn’t directly increase muscle growth, rather, it enhances your stamina and recovery so you can train longer, harder and recover more quickly between sets and after a hard training session without soreness. You still need to do the usual like maintain a proper protein diet and get lots of sleep.
The taste is extremely tart or equivalent to eating dried grounded, lime peels. You can mix it with almost any beverage, but I train fasted so I just guzzle it straight. It may tie up your stomach rarely, but I found an additional glass of water will help move things along. Its also a great vasodilator — if your interested that side-effect — which is part of how it works. How much it shows depends on your leanness, but mostly your genetics.
As for pumps, I don’t notice it that much, but the effect differ greatly from person to person. Again, its a genetics thing since some people claim enhanced pumps from creatine, which I don’t get. I’ve experiment with ratios (L-citrulline, 1:1) and 2:1 works best. You actually need the combo malate (malic acid) for it to work.
The recommended dose is 6-8 gms, but I’ve had no issues using up to 16gms — which is the point of diminishing return for me. That is, it doesn’t work any better after that.

I am 67 and started taking this product for overall health and found I have a lot of extra stamina and vitality. It does work. I have been on it for about a month and I will keep it up. I think it is worth every penny. I do not have any health conditions but if you do check with your doctor. Look it up on YouTube to learn more about it. I give it 4 thumbs up!!!

I picked up PRIMAFORCE Citrulline Malate to use as a caffeine free pre-workout supplement along with Beta Alanine. My intention was to use it for a month while I cycle off of a pre-workout supplement that I used for 3 months that contained caffeine… This combination is amazing! Not only was my energy level very high approximately 20-30 minutes after taking it, (as well as the tingles from the Beta Alanine), but my endurance was increasing by the day!!. After 2 weeks I was pushing through my workouts with the same energy I started with!! I’m 45, so for me this was huge!! I like this combination so much that I now add it to the original pre-workout supplement I was taking prior to trying this. I take 2 level scoops of Citrulline Malate (4000 mgs total) along with 2 scoops of Beta Alanine (1000 mgs total) 30 – 45 minutes prior to working out. I also take 1 scoop of each and add it to a bottle of water to take “during” my workouts… Some may comment about the bitterness, but it’s not that bad if you down it quickly. And once I started adding it to my pre-workout supplement (DS Craze – Candy Grape), it actually tasted great!! The flavors compliment each other very well… I highly recommend!!

I am giving this product three starts because Prima Force is a solid company that makes quality products and I have no doubt that this is quality Cirtuline Malate. However, if i were to rate Citruline Malate on it’s own as a supplement I would give this one star. I have been using pre and post workout (3-4 grams each) and have not noticed any increase in pump, decrease in fatigue or improved recovery. Overall, I would say that Cit Malate is nothing more than a palcebo. I think you would find Beta Alanine to be a better supplement overall for fatigue and recovery and in general, if it’s not Whey, Creatine, Glutamine, BCAA and possibly Beta Alanine, it’s probably not worth taking.

I took this every day and before the gym when I didn’t want to use a caffeinated product like pre workout. It’s pretty good. Flavor is pretty sour though. A lot of servings for the money. I feel that the pure form is more effective than this and I’ll be switching back to that.

Very effective amino supplement. Many pre and post amino acid supplements contain this in their formula for a good reason!
