I ordered these for my 5 year old grandchildren but I would consider them more sized for a very much younger child.

My daughter is 3, and she uses these brushes. The heads are small enough for me to maneuver around in her mouth when I help her, and they are sized appropriately for little hands. This pack comes as an assortment of colours, not of your choosing. I got two “tiger” (orange with a black stripe), two green, and two pink brushes. If your child isn’t picky (mine isn’t) this shouldn’t be a problem. The cases the brushes come in are also made to be used as a travel case, too. They provide a thorough cleaning, plus you can save up the old brushes and print out a return label off of Preserve’s website and mail them back to the company where they will recycle them, all for free (the brushes–all but the bristles–come from recycle #5 plastics, such as yogurt cups). My family and I use Preserve toothbrushes, and we collect them up together in a little box under the bathroom sink and ship them all back each year. They are a great product. Helps us keep our teeth clean, and helps out our environment too. Terrific.

These arrived in a nice lightweight box. We received three green and three lavender. The handle is perfect for little hands and the bristles are truly soft.
The head of the brush is small enough for a tiny tot and a perfect fit for my three year old. She was using the adult preserve toothbrushes but this is easier for her to maneuver (yet grippy enough for me to do a final brush).
My daughter is on an “I want to be a grownup like mommy” kick so it is nice to have appropriately sized brushes that are not childish with commercial characters.
Three on the Way –
Very narrow. Not enough bristles if u ask me. They are soft and easy to use the kids liked all the assorted colors. Not sure i will purchase again.

I saw the mixed reviews on this and took a jump anyway on ordering them. My kids go through toothbrushes quickly and I figured that I could still get the use out of a 6-pack. We WILL use them, but I won’t order them again ONLY because of personal preference. They are comfortable to hold and are functional, but the heads are very narrow. I thought at first that it was because of being squished in the package, but it has not improved with use. I do prefer a wider brush than this for the kids. We are NOT having any trouble with durability or lost bristles, and my kids are rough on brushes.
Side note for reference, per Preserve customer service, the bristles on these are about the same as an adult soft brush (vs. ultra soft or medium).

Comparing to another toothbrush I get for my kids (the Radius).
This one is smaller, potentially more “big kid like”, since it has a slimmer handle like the ones adults use. It doesn’t sit flat on the counter like the radius, it kind of wobbles to one of the sides a bit. That really bothers my 6-year old.
This one’s bristles get squished more easily. You can see in the photo that this toothbrush is on the left and the kids Radius toothbrush is on the right. I gave these to my 4 & 6-year old on the same day. They brush their teeth equal amounts of time and mostly us parents are doing the brushing. You can see the difference in bristles.
My 6-year old overall prefers this one to the Radius brand, but just because it’s different than her little siblings’ toothbrushes and feels more like an adult one.

For a couple of years now we have used the adult Preserve toothbrushes ourselves as we love how they perform and the fact that they have an ‘ultra soft’ version. It went without question we would get these Juniors for our daughter and we are so happy with them.
These kids toothbrushes come in a super convenient six pack, which is great because you cant find them in the stores and I don’t want to run out. On a per cost basis, these break down to be the same price as mainstream brands. They are simple, fun colors, and effective. My daughter likes the colors and likes brushing with them. I like that they are made from recycled products and in the USA. I refuse to buy toothbrushes that are made in China, it is just unacceptable that all the major companies we have grown to trust have outsourced to China – just take a look at the labels sometime.
I love this brand and would highly recommend these. The plastic case is also great to hang onto for when you travel.

We wanted to continue our effort to bring less chemicals into our home so we started tackling items that we use multiple times a day. We purchased these toothbrushes for our two older children (ages 4-6). They highly approved of the toothbrushes and can’t wait to use them. With a flat design they are easier for our kids to grasp and clean their teeth. The bumps on the handle also help to provide a no slip area not only for the kids, but for Mom & Dad as well as we help brush their teeth. We love the fact that the cases are able to be recycled as are the toothbrushes. The animal facts on the cases,and money from the sale of the brushes to help wildlife is an extra bonus. While it is a bummer you can’t pick the colors or animals it is such a minor point, but I did want to mention that fact. Overall we have been very pleased with these toothbrushes and we wouldn’t hesitate to order them in the future.

After radiation, my mouth doesn’t open wide enough to get a normal toothbrush in. These are perfect for me.
