Fan of lactoferrin. Had never had the apolactoferrin before. Had to look it up to see what the difference was. Google now has AI in it and sometimes gives you an AI response and it did: “ALF is bactericidal against pneumococci and other bacteria. It’s also known for its antimicrobial action, which comes from its iron-free nature. This allows ALF to compete with pathogens for iron, which helps the body’s infection defense mechanisms.” Eager to try that difference. Thankfully not ill with whatever is going around now, so can’t speak to that aspect at this time, but it is easy to swallow and had no side effects for me. Do a little research; talk to your doc; may be worth adding for you.

I’ve been using these lactoferrin pills for 10 days, and I can already feel a difference. The 98% lactoferrin formula seems to be working well to support my immune system, and I also appreciate the added benefit of promoting iron absorption. It’s comforting to know that these capsules are made with vegetable ingredients, making them a great option for vegetarians.
The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that I’d like to see more capsules per bottle or a lower price point. Other than that, I’m very satisfied with the quality and results so far. Definitely worth a try if you’re looking to boost your immune

In order for me to trust taking a supplement it must be made in the USA and have undergone third-party lab testing. According to the information provided in the listing, this ML Naturals Lactoferrin supplement meets those requirements. It is free of GMOs, gluten, wheat, yeast, lactose, soy, artificial flavor, and preservatives. At the suggested serving size of 2 capsules, this bottle will last for 30 days. At the current selling price of $26.99, the cost per serving is $0.90.
The supplement industry is unregulated so I research brands before I trust taking their supplements. I have more confidence in supplements made in the USA than most other countries. I have concerns about ML Naturals. They claim their products are made in the USA which I hope is accurate. I am very concerned by their Facebook page because their posts are written in Chinese. They do not provide a full street address on the bottle or on their website so I am unable to look them up on GPS. I found a website that shows imports and My Life, Inc in Federal Way, WA is doing a lot of business with China. I just don’t feel like I can fully vet this product and therefore, personally I don’t feel comfortable taking it. If the company provides verifiable information in the future, I will be willing to reconsider.

I decided to order this on a whim, as there has been somewhat of a buzz around this supplement recently. I used to take colostrum a number of years ago and really liked it, and wondered how this would compare. I’ve been taking this for a week along with my daily supplement “stack” (high-quality multivitamin, plus a bunch of other stuff I just realized nobody cares about but me, lol) and it seems to working well. It seems to be high-quality stuff, but I’m a bit of a novice when it comes to lactoferrin, so it’s hard to say for sure, but this particular brand has a few things going for it. First it is made with the preferred form of lactoferrin, apolactoferrin. Second, it is distributed by a small local company. I always like to support local businesses. And finally, after I’ve taken it, I feel fantastic: relaxed, warm and pleasant. It brings feelings of well-being with an almost narcotic-like glow. (Are you sure there’s only lactoferrin in these capsules? Just kidding. I mean, if this is a typical response, I can certainly understand the hype around it. But what I don’t understand is why isn’t anybody else talking about that? Perhaps it would seem…unseemly. But that’s what I’m here for – to bring the honesty, and say what needs to be said.) Whatever the cause, these vitamins certainly make me feel terrific.
One thing to note, if you are game to try this supplement, is to be sure to take this with your multivitamin, as it binds to iron and is thus recommended that you take this at the same time as any iron-containing supplements.
