I’ve never tried magnesium prior to getting this but I’ve really been loving this! I’ve been keeping this next to my bed to use before sleep and it’s actually surprisingly has helped so much to feeling relaxed for bed 🙂
I really like that it doesn’t leave a slimy residue (after fully dried/absorbed into skin) and it has been a great addition to my skincare/hygiene products! Highly recommend

I have tried other magnesium products before with differing results. This is just like the others, really no affect. It has a pleasant fragrance and makes my skin nice and soft, but really doesn’t seem to help me sleep.

This magnesium cream comes in a plastic container with a plastic inner lid to prevent it from getting on the interior of the lid. The cream itself is advertised as a sleep cream. When I saw it contained lavender oil, i expected it to have a lavender scent. It does not. It also did not help me to sleep.
The amount of magnesium in the cream, as in how many mg you get from a certain amount of cream is not listed.
This exact same cream is available on Amazon from many sellers. I suggest shopping for the best price. You’ll know it’s the same by seeing that they use the exact same photos, and if that changes, notice the ingredients list. This signifies there is one company making the product and other companies or sellers placing their name or label on the box, and sometimes they don’t even bother to do that.
As of July, 2024, this cream is selling for $15-20, and I think those are all too highly priced for what I expected.
The contact information for the company on the box is for Apex in Cork Ireland. The sticker on the shrink wrap it comes in states it’s made in China. This reminded me when I went to an Irish festival and found a really cool hat. I asked the vendor where it was made. He replied, “We’re from Ireland, mam”.
Most people might stop there, but I told him that’s great, and asked again. He said, “Ireland, of course mam!” As I finally had answer to my question, I looked closer at the hat, and saw a ‘made in China’ sticker.
When a company only puts required contact information and leaves off the information regarding where it’s made, it leads people to believe the product is made where the company contact is. I firmly believe this is meant to influence thought and intentionally lacks transparency. I do NOT like that, and there are many magnesium cream ‘brands’ on Amazon with this EXACT contact info. That’s ok, but should confirm to the consumer that shopping for the best PRICE is the best thing to do when looking for magnesium cream.

I got this after it being recommended to me by my daughter. This product has helped me to get to sleep easier and stay asleep and relax tight muscles when used routinely.

This cream seems to absorb well and is largely unscented (it lists lavender oil, but oddly there’s no aroma of it – which makes you wonder if it’s in there..). Packaging is nice.
The problem is the complete lack of any information about how much magnesium it contains or how it’s made (GMP facility? Quality controls? Third party validation?). If the price is right, you might be willing to overlook that. But unless/until more info is provided, I’d be more inclined to go with a product from a company that’s more transparent.
