This collagen powder has some additional components such as biotin and hyaluronic acid that are supposed to synergize with it.
It is tasteless and dissolves easily in coffee, the added extras tend to form into a film around the collagen, but those can be broken up with vigorous stirring.
The health benefits of collagen can be overhyped at times, but it is an excellent source of slow digesting protein with the exact same amino acid profile as the collagen that composes your body.

I’ve wanted to try collagen, but my concerns about flavor and texture deterred me until now. So, when I added this to my evening turmeric ginger tea I had my doubts. However, while my tea was cloudier than without the powder, I couldn’t taste it at all, and if the drink became more viscous, it wasn’t enough for me to notice. One of the things I like about this powder is that it’s manufactured at a Good Manufacturing Practices certified facility in the USA.

My wife and I put a scoop of collagen in our first cup of coffee every morning for general joint and skin support. It doesn’t mix as easily as some powders we’ve used, but not the worst either. Definitely requires mixing to get rid of clumps, but does eventually fully dissolve. No discernible taste, which is good. Not the best from a value standpoint, but if you get it for a good price, it’s a solid option.

I take collagen powder to help w bones and as an added benefit, my hair and nails grow faster. I assume this brand will do the same. It is a good source of protein, tasteless to me. I dissolve it in cold or hot, maybe have to stir a little more w cold liquids but not too much, dissolves easily in hot. Satisfied w this product.

I was all set to consider this a perfect collagen, then I read the warning on the label – “…can expose you to chemicals including lead, which is known to the state of California to cause cancer.” Only California? How about the whole human race? Lead is BAD, and should not be in ANY supplement to IMPROVE health. As I test this product, I find that it does dissolve well in any drink, and has no taste, so you can mix it with anything, and I’ve also had no side effects from taking it….yet, however, due to the potential of lead, I will not continue, even though this has SO many good things going for it. I’ll stick to my organic brand of collagen. Too bad too, because this has all the ingredients to be the best out there. Get the lead out, and you’ll be 5 stars.
