I’m not sure what to say about these collagen supplements. The taste is not offensive but it’s not great either. If you mix the gel with even a small amount of water, it tastes watered down but if you eat it directly from the packet, it’s a very strong and not entirely pleasant flavor. It tastes like sour orange juice.
I used the entire box but I haven’t noticed a significant change in my hair or nails. My experience with collagen and biotin supplements is that it takes a while for the effects to show up. If I notice my hair and nails growing like crazy in the coming weeks, I’ll be sure to update my review.

The gastric system is really just not a direct route to your dermis. While you could argue that what you eat does eventually go into your skin and hair, the process is a long one and loading up on collagen in drinks is more likely to result in you excreting it more. If you are interested in healthier skin and nails, direct application is not perfect since many of the cells you are interacting with are already dead… but there are systems in place to benefit those cells that are alive and in touch with facial creams. But if this was a yummy delicious drink additive that was reasonably priced I think you could say “why not.” But it isn’t. Its basically a gross out hold your nose kind of thing and the benefit are non-scientific. I would say dodge it.

I’ve tried different collagens in both powder and jelly form. I have tastes some that were done very well. I thought this would be similar and liked the idea of the lemon flavor. However, with this, it just didn’t work out very well. It almost seems to make something that didn’t taste as bad and made it less tolerable. I was able to take this but is not something I would look forward to doing much again, if I end up finishing this box. I really thought I would have liked this more. However, in addition to the high cost, I would not get this again or recommend it.

Revive Collagen delivers a massive dose of marine based collagen in a drink for daily use. The drink tastes unique, not bad, just different. The effect after a week was really something: I had thickened hair, with more shine and less breaks, and also had faster growing nails with a healthy white tip. The drink really makes a difference I think, especially if you are needing the help either for external use or internal. Collagen can improve so much internally, with more robust tissue strength and recovery, especially as we age. A well priced item for what it offers.

I purchased the Revive – Collagen Premium 8,500mg Hydrolyzed Marine Collagen Supplement because I wanted to try a marine collagen supplement. I have taken beef collagen for a while now so thought it would be good to try a different type and see if I could notice any type of changes in my skin. This is a liquid that you can take straight from the packet or mix with a drink of choice. The lemon/lime flavor is strong, and it had a slight fish taste too (not to strong but noticeable). This seems to have good clean ingredients, and I like that it is sweetened with stevia. In the 14 days that I took this, I didn’t really notice any changes, but I think that with a product like this it takes time to see results. Good product and I am happy with my purchase.
