I ordered the Astaxanthin because it is supposed to be good for eye health and overall cardiovascular health. This is the first time that I have taken this supplement. The capsules are easy to swallow and the bottle will last for 30 days if you take two per day as recommended. I like the other healthy ingredients that are included in this supplement. I have not had any negative side effects from this, and I am hoping to improve my eye and cardiovascular health with this supplement. I am pleased with this product.

I try to be rather healthy by taking vitamins and supplements. Sometimes i can tell they make a difference in how i feel. This was not one of those times.

Astaxanthin has a lot of health benefits and this one looks like a great quality. It is very easy to swallow. It doesn’t cause any negative side effects for me. I don’t notice any positive effects, but I understand that as with the supplements the difference may not be so dramatic. I believe that it is good for my health.

I have taken astaxanthin for a long time. I have tried various different forms of it, but this is the first time I have come across a complex that is all in powder form.

These are pretty standard pills in size. They are a capsule filled with reddish powder.
BURPING ETC
I will say that a few times there have been little burps after taking this which brings a seaweed type burp, but it is not bad and it goes away quickly. It does not happen all of the time.
DOES IT HELP?
I can not say that it helps any more than my usual astaxanthin, but it does not bother me to take it, so I will continue to take the entire bottle to see if it makes a difference. So far, it does not seem to be any different or better than anything else. I am not opposed to it, still on the fence. It is good for what it is though, so I can say that.
THE BOTTOM LINE
This is a powder form of astaxanthin which has a nice complex of support herbs and natural additions.
MY RATING
FOUR STARS. I am not sure I would get this again, but it is good to know of a vegan type of astaxanthin. I am not opposed to a repurchase, just unsure it is worth the switch over to this in the future.
I will update if anything changes. This is a good supplement if you are avoiding fish and want something plant in origin though so I do recommend it based on that.

This is a plant based anti-oxidant with a great mix of organic vegetables, herbs, mushrooms and algae. Astaxanthin is a carotenoid (yes, like carotenoids.) It is a multi-tasking antioxidant for things like your vision, and brain, heart and much more. My doctor has a supplement with astaxanthin as an option for my poor vision. I’ve been on this now for about 2weeks. The first thing I noticed was better night vision. The studies show that for vision all you need is 4 mg of astaxanthin extract a day. The dosage of 2 a day is that exact dosage. I found the capsules easy to swallow. I try to take this with a meal to avoid any digestive problems and so far that has worked. If you take 2 a day, that makes this bottle good for 30 days which does make it a bit pricey! However, you are getting a premium supplement from a trustworthy brand who is totally transparent about their manufacturing policies and procedures and their sources. I highly recommend this astaxanthin from Premier. It’s a supplement that is unique and that you can trust.

Astaxanthin is a carotenoid found in orange and red fruits, as well as salmon and shrimp. It’s a potent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory with researched benefits to the skin, eyes, and heart. Some have made claims related to cancer prevention and immune health. I’ve been taking it for years, mainly for the skin benefits.
This company provides a plant based form of astaxanthin and they claim it’s done in a way to increase bioavailability. The formula also includes an herbal blend with some interesting ingredients, as well as MCT oil to help with absorption (astaxanthin is fat soluble).
They also claim, on their website, that they seek out the best ingredients and test them for quality. I didn’t see anything about third party testing, but I’m glad to see a commitment to quality.
This is a nice astaxanthin formula if you decide you could benefit from this supplement.

Astaxanthin is good for eye health and overall cardiovascular health. Premier Research Labs formulation also includes other supplements to enhance and provide additional health benefits. I appreciate that you are not only getting astaxanthin, but also things that are already popular in the supplement industry such as chlorella, milk thistle, and even carrot and broccoli. Only wish it would have certifications for heavy minerals and absorption. They claim their manufacturing facilities are USP, GMP, NSF, but currently cannot find solid evidence their Astaxanthin Complex falls under these as a certified product. I can only hope it is a work in progress.
The gel capsules are small and easy to swallow, and I’ve experienced no side effects since taking them for a week. The bottle is a 30-day supply, to be taken twice daily.
